Meine 1972 Yamaha DT2

Ever since I have taken interest in cigars I always smoked ones given me by family and friends.

Well today I went to a store and bought my first ones.

I cannot for my life take off the planenary assembly again as its super tight.

Ideas what I can try?

Is this Pin 100% needed when its sits so tight it doesnt budge at all.

The movement is free and easy

I want to remove this dent in a Cover for a 1972 Hobart Mixer. Is this cast iron or stamped metal?

How to check/know for the future?

Tips for removing this dent? Paintwork can be damaged as I will sandblast and repaint it later.

Never done anything like this. Its basicly my first Restauration project.

I do not know what else to say to fill out the 400 character requirement so hello from germany.
