In The Odyssey, Circe is terrified of men 'invading lands and disrespecting people' by eating her food, yet she just casually keeps a literal apex predator guarding her front door.
One thing I don't understand Circe
she turned Odysseus men into pigs accusing them of invading lands, disrespect the people and everything... the pigs tried to stop Odysseus from eating so they still have their free will. How is she able to live with a Lion at her gate?
