I have a TCL Flip 3 that Spectrum is unable to tell me if it is carrier locked or not.
This "dumb" phone runs the KaIOS operating system which unfortunately does not have a carrier lock state reported anywhere in it's simple menu.
After speaking with Spectrum, I tried to use the many free carrier unlock checkers but they either wanted money or did not identify the imei as the Flip 3.
So, what is the magic trick to get an answer from spectrum as to it's current unlock state or what is required to get it unlocked?
Should I just file a FCC complaint to get the answer?

Tried a chat session today and was greeted by AI that 'thinks' for a very long time and then presents an account summary (end date, autopay status etc). Ask a question and it again 'thinks' for a long time only to reply with "Sorry something went wrong. Please try again later."
Talking with agents is usually slow and painful, but this "upgrade" is actually worse.
Have found that the work around is to ask AI "Can i please speak with a live agent" and after a bit of "thinking" it does just that, just like before, but wasting a bit more of your time.

With Bessent's pending long term treasury bond intervention starting in just a few days, what are the possible impact of a trillion dollar injection into the market.

As i understand it, the US treasury has about $31T in outstanding debt with a market that has an average daily trading value of $1.21T. The lion's share of that $1.2T average daily trading is short term, under 2 year, with just $52Bb/$115B/$93B in 2/5/10 year. Could not find data on 20 and 30 year but presumably they are even smaller than 10 year... so...
What impact would $1T of intervention have on the 20/30 year treasury market?
What impact would that injection of cash have on inflation and/or higher stock prices?

Our small office has a shared mailbox called Office that we use for an office wide contact list. All users have full access to this list. it has been prefectly good for years but recently some of the notes on some of the contacts have become corrupted with a sync error detailed as part of the note. I am thinking that any one of the clients (users) could be causing this issue but have no idea on where to begin to figure out which one. Is there a log of changes made to contacts in a shared mailbox that details the name of the user that last edited a contact? Any suggestion on how to troubleshoot greately appreciated. Thank you!

Noticed an update to the plans on the website that shows "New Unlimited Calling To and From Mexico" and the elimination of any mention of International Roaming except on the new $20 BYO plan. Does this mean they are discontinuing international roaming in the 140+ countries, or is it just another website blunder?

Have been a customer since 2020 with a two cameras subscription of about $15 a camera per year. Was just renewed for about $65 instead of the expected $30. Logged in and started chat to be greeted by a unapologetic AI bot that ignored the fact that this happened without notice and not offering any solution such as you can cancel within 15 days of billing for a full refund. I am contemplating just disputing the charge with my credit card since Wyze would rather waste my time with their rude bot rather than have an actual human chat with me. Very disappointed in Wyze.

Today SGOV is trading with a bid/ask of 100.45/100.46.
Unable to place a limit order less than a whole cent i entered a Buy order of 2,000 SGOV Today @ 100.46 and filled at 100.46. When i place orders for SGOV that are 1,000 shares ore more on Fidelity they always fill me at the mid of the bid ask. Is Schwab simply not as generous as Fidelity and so do not fill large orders in the middle? Thank you in advance for your experiences and insight.

Looking to replace an analog (bnc) dome camera on a 16 channel dvr that is only 720p.

Got a $20 Zosi 2mp dome camera that is 90 degree but want something wider, or perhaps i need something with a shorter focal length(?) as it is at one end of a 12 foot long hallway and the $20 Zosi does not provide full view of the hall.
Other than the zoom/angle, the $20 Zosi is sufficient image quality for the task at hand.

Hi Everybody,

I have a Whirlpool French Door Fridge Model WRF555SDHV01 with a fridge section that is running too cold, practically freezing the food held in the fridge section.

The common culprit is the damper control assembly, which seems simple enough to replace.

However, before just randomly replacing parts I would like to know how to put the fridge into diagnostics mode and have it return any error messages to pin point the problem.

Can someone please guide me on how to run diagnostics, or point me to a guide on how to do so?

On 5/13/2026, Total Wireless launched a new website and new service plans.

Since then, Total Wireless has become plagued with problems.

New customers porting in their beloved numbers have been left without service. Their numbers picked from and no longer working on their previous carrier, but also not working on Total either. And still not working for weeks in some cases with no end in sight.

DO NOT PORT IN UNTIL THEY GET THIS RESOLVED!

Many existing customer have encountered the following problems:

Some existing customers have been unable to log into the website, but can log into the App.

Some existing customers have had new astronomical renewal rates appear in their accounts, usually because of multiple renewals appearing scheduled for the same renewal date.

Some existing customers on post 7/11/2024 Total Wireless plans have lost their promotion 50% off BYOD rate or ByeBye Promotional rates and/or have lost their multi-line discounts with every line set to renew at full fare.

Some existing customer have had all lines in their account gone missing from the My Lines page (previously called Manage My Lines) with no resolution in site. This means you can not unlock your line so that you can port out if you wanted to, and it means you can not renew your plan from the website or app if you wanted to.

The Total Rewards system is a mess with referral points maturing at double the earned amount and pending points removed at double the pending amount leaving folks with negative pending balances. Also new referral codes have appeared in some account rewards page that yield an 'invalid' error message when used.

Existing customers, regardless of legacy Total Wireless, Total by Verizon, or post 7/1/2024 Total Wireless plans are unable to purchase renewal plans with reward points. Legacy customers simply have teh option greyed out on the website and app. Post 7/11/2024 Total Wireless customers only see renewal with reward points offered per line, not the multi-line group rate, and only at the full plan rate, not any multi-line discounted rates. In fact buying a plan with points on post 7/11/2024 rate plans yields the transaction happily going through, your points being deducted, and no plan being added to your account.

BBB and FCC complaints yield call backs that are nothing but lip service, not resulting in solutions but kicking the problem down the road with not estimated completion date or firm call back date.

There has been no acknowledgement from Total/Tracfone/VerizonValue about these ongoing problems, what is being done about it, and when we should expect things to get resolved.

Anyone can make mistakes, but making a mistake as broad as this, impacting so many customers, and not announcing that there are ongoing issue they are presumably working to resolve, speaks volumes about the credibility of a company and you needs to decide if it is the sort of company you can trust to do business with.

Hope this helps somebody from making a mistake in porting and loosing their number, or having existing customers refrain from making any changes on their account while Total struggles to fix the problems they created for their customers.
