Roaches is one of my favorite party members and im curious. this game tends to have a lot of give and take mechanics and Roaches is a hidden, very strong member. theres also dialogue when eating ab Sam thinking he should get rid of the roaches in the apartment, i dont think the game tends to attempt to lead you astray so id assume there is a reason youd want to
Obvious thing out of the way, I love the calamity mod itself, and will probably continue to play it (separating art from artist and all). but to tell the truth i think im somewhat glad to see it go because i think it will open up so much for the modding community. Previously if you wanted to make a content mod, compatibility with Calamity was a huge thing you needed to take into account, and a mod could even be judged more harshly if it wasnt compatible. since basically everyone always plays with Calamity thats a huge group who just wouldnt play it. With Calamity gone i think it opens up room to potentially get less Wrath of Gods (no shade i do love that one but just for the sake of the point) and more Starlight River now that the first FaQ isnt always going to be "compatible with calamity?". Though im sad we will never get an official Yharim fight im excited to see what is to come in this new era yk
Downloading paper mario on Ziperto and im not sure what the part 1 and part 2 links are. is part 2 just a mirror link or is the game split in two?
I originally played on the tail end of 1.6, and replaying now i still hold strong on this idea that despite 99% of the game being genuinely amazing, the landlord's apartment is my least favorite part of the game, it is the only part of the game i actively dont want to engage with and its required for a large part of progression.
From the POV of my first time playthrough, It feels like they had two amazing ideas, the changing apartment and the looping warzone, half baked both of them, and smushed them together in an apartment with a bunch of enemies that just arent memorable. except Trench Digger i love that guy. And it drags on a lot, obviously the game wants you to do it over the course of multiple in game days but you need to go to loop 4/5 to get the basement key, the thing most people will be going there for the first time before coming back for things like the Jupiter disc. Its just deep enough to really be a problem to try to get in one go, but also be fully possible to do. i may just be stubborn but i cant stand to leave an area like that without the single thing i actively went there to get, especially with it always being just out of reach.
I think id seriously love to see a rework of this part of the game, or at least make the trench digger drop the basement key instead of it being on the ground like some carrot on a stick. though despite this the game is still an absolute 10/10 in my eyes. i am curious if this is a hot take or if people agree, and if you dont agree what parts are there you may dislike?

Super proud of this, i did farewell and all of the C-Sides back in september and decided to try and pick the game back up to do this and to my surprise only took a few hours. 1-B is one of my favorite levels in the game so wanting to gold it is what started this and though i doubt im dedicated enough to go much farther with gold berries itll be fun im sure
None of the blocks have their value panels on them, and right clicking where it would be doesnt do anything
I have a folder of a profile but i dont know how to get it into my library. just placing it into the profiles folder didnt work is there an option to import it from the folder? or to convert the profile folder into a .mrpack file?
I have all the dlc because i got gifted the game awhile back and im curious ab the dlc compatibility. im under the impression most pick RoG because its like the complete base game experience, but if i pick that do i not have access to the SW and HAM worlds? and if not is there a way to start in the regular world
I pasted a schematic i made in creative into my survival world and its only generating about half the amount of thrust at the same speed. the only variable that changed is the world its in so i have no idea what could possibly be causing this
Essentially if you have 2 different abilities that give 50% reflect does that mean 75% total or 100% total
every time i try to do faction warfare to capture outposts or clear camps theres always an enemy zerg that appears and kills everyone and we get nothing, im trying to get faction coins but have been entirely unable to because everywhere i go to try and get them me and my allies get steamrolled by a huge blob of enemies. what am i doing wrong?

I see the idea thrown around that under MikeDreamer the Nightmares are actual robots designed by Afton to scare Michael and I want to read more ab it, i personally don't like the theory (or MikeDreamer in general) that much, but id like to read into that theory and can't find it anywhere lol

It seems the general sentiment towards Linus from the villagers is kind, with some believing him to be homeless and offering him a place, and some recognizing him as weird but otherwise respecting him. but reading his dialogue especially during events he seems to believe himself unwelcome in the community, and other random dialogues about his tent being destroyed so clearly there is someone harassing him and telling him he's unwelcome despite the kindness he sees and I'm curious if there is anything about who that is? I would assume its just some randoms hiking in the mountains but i doubt getting harassed by randoms would cause him to feel unwelcome in pelican town
Admitedly, im still really rudimentary on exactly what communism and socialism are, still learning. but from what i understand Pelican Town is somewhere in there. The farmer, the worker, owns the means of production and the town largely thrives off of the goodwill of the community and local businesses. Everyone has their needs met, despite the very clear housing shortage of the town. i feel like a couple of simple steps like abolition of gold wouldnt change the infrastructure of the town that much considering how community oriented it is already with message boards and the community center. Obviously Pelican Town is in a capitalist state with megacorps like Joja but im mostly referring to the town and community itself in a vacuum

I eat instant ramen a lot because its cheap, and im under the impression that its not terribly detrimental to my health. i tend to not use a lot of the flavor seasoning packets because they have a lot of sodium and instead use more nutrient rich seasonings for the broth like paprika and onion powder, but even with that and the addition of vegetables and eggs im afraid im not getting the proper nutrition from it
