Today I heard that the cafe owner I am regular at, which, outside of it, has stray cat mom with her kittens that she still nurse, took most of the kittens away from their mom

Been regular at this place since before COVID19, today's action will leave him with one less regular customer in his already declining cafe (he also separated from partnership with his sibling and fired off all the operation managers and the few ones left, bundle of red flags).

Synthetic shares through SPX/XSP?

Was wondering how viable is that for smaller accounts to have more control of shares instead of buying them outright?

Given SPX/XSP are index funds with no shares, as they're European style options with no assignment risk and cash settled.

Or SPY is a better alternative due to more liquidity, in exchange of having assignment risk due to American style options? Assuming one don't use margin account at all, how would assignment risk works in this case if it happens?

Athena donned camouflage and chose her stakeout spot well. She blended in well. Now to get phots of Spiro and his new hussy. The divorce settlement will set her up for life.

Spiro thought he was the smartest bird in the room. He was constantly calling Athena stupid. Nobody does that and gets away with it. Athena makes plans. This plan was so simple because Spiro was actually a simpleton. He brought his floozies to the same taverna, and sat at the same table. The one by the window. Easy enough to get incriminating photos.

Made profit on SPCX puts recentlt, thought I can try that again...

But the stock had other plan for me, basically steamrolled me on the way up while tryung picking the pennies today.

Positions I closed: $105 and $100 SPCX as ratio backspread, made well above %200 profit, rolled them out today, but closed them an hour or so later and lost couple hundred $ and I'm ok with that.

Rear left side sag?

Its 2009 CLS, with around 50k miles with Airmatic suspension, found the rear left side wheels sagging after parking it for a whole day.

Turned the ignition on, no message of airmatic malfunctioning in the dashboard, raised the suspension, left the car, alignment was even in all sides, lowered the suspension, again its even on all sides.

Drove the car around 30 km with no issues other than a "check tires pressure" message, which appears every once in a while.

When I turn the ignition off and leave the car I hear a deflation sound.

Wondering if I have to change the airmatic or its a minor issue?

2009 CLS 280, good deal or?

It had almost 80k km on the odometer, two previous owners for a little above €9k.

Just did a routine maintenance for around €1.2 (inc. transmission fluid and labor fees) and then was quoted additional for front pairs of tie rods as one of them was degraded (OEM) for around €700 euro inc. labor fees.

Wonder if: the price of purchase and the maintenance cost for my car from this independant garage was fair or on the overpriced side?

House Architecture that blends with its surrounding examples?

As this is my current favorite style of architecture that blends form and function, I only found the aformentioned example for such architecture.

Was wondering if there's any other examples that are strictly houses that blends with different surroundings, be it mountain, desert or even suburbia?

Cool weather spot for the summer that is both cheap and safe?

Seems most recommendations here focus on SEA, which seems mostly warm to hot in the summer, would prefer a cooler escape (under 80f degrees), but also not very high elevation (that takes out Nepal I guess) due to blood condition.

Preferably in East Asia, Western Europe (maybe portugal?) or South America.

$30k savings, no salary, have ESOP in a startup and get commission on every sale, need a car asap

It's gonna be used car for no more than $10k (basically 1/3rd my savings) and will pay it in cash, only have $3k to payoff my credit card.

I have another $40k from equity I sold coming in early 2027 that I won a legal case (from exited tech startup I cofounded) and another $30k in either 2027-2028.

As my current car is almost 300k miles and is basically failling apart (on 2nd engine and 2nd transmission, might change the transmission for the 3rd time as current transmission is acting up, for around $1k-2k and might last at least a year, car doesn't feel safe to drive anymore, selling it might net me $3k or so).

Need a car as I live in a car-centric place and even with public transportation I still need to use Uber, which cost can add up.

In my 30s, single, live with aging parents and help them whenever needed (groceries, cleaning their car, car gas, being generally available), so not paying rent nor mortage.

Should I buy a used car with $10k now? Try to find cheaper used car? Or fix my beater car?

1992 280E 46k miles, for $8k/€6.8k, what to look for?

Found the aforementioned example with such mielage, clean example, especially the interior, though the car is in a humid place so main concern seems to be rust.

And is the price fair for this model and engine, assuming its clean, had its maintenance done and on original engine and transmission?

Telegram on message trigger not receiving the messages

Although the API connected and setup the Telegram bot, whenever I send /start or text message to the trigger (which I execute to listen beforehand), it doesn't recieve anything and keeps listening (no error as well).

Was wondering how to fix that? As the n8n I use is using VPS.

EDIT: workflow is basically only the Telegram on message trigger with Telegram credential that has the working API.

2 Months with KW and not liking it

Mainly due to the Keller Williams couch pressuring us to list and find buyers, to the point of taking my phone and importing ALL my contacts to Command (their CRM platform), mind you, some phone numbers their owners explicitly asked me to not share it and even having dead relatives numbers for memories.

Even accusing me of blocking the couch phone number (guess what, problem is theirs as they also called my colleagues phones and the blocking issue from their side).

I've been mildly traumatized by the experience as a new real estate agent to the point of changing my career to something else due to such treatment.

Most passive strategy for the working professional?

As I am starting to work two jobs last week, I am not having as much time watching the market and my options like before, was wondering if there's any strategy in options that is mostly set and forget instead of actively trading? Or just buy long dated LEAPS?

Overwhelmed with Gold ETF choices...

Which one to hold money in that has lowest expense fees, hold actual gold, liquid and non-leveraged?

What is the most well-known gold ETF to hold shares at? Think SGOV for 3 months treasury bonds of gold.

Basically the most boring choice that everytime I see the ETF I yawn.

Stock Price Going Up, and the Puts are Gaining Value

Basically my NVDA $70 Puts that expire on the 17th of July 2026 are slowly gaining value after NVDA price appreciated earlier today.

Trying to understand if the reasons are me buying it during compressed IV times and suddenly its gaining premium value due to IV expansion?

Or suddenly there's more demand on that specific strike and expiry?

As it is a monthlies, which, to my understanding, are on average more liquid to weeklies.

Since the 2000s until now, American cars has certain unique smell, like a glue, to their interior, its been presistant since the 2000s models until now, and even non-domestic brands that build their cars in American don't have such interior smell, was wondering what is the reason for that?

Basically I'm taking courses where I get paid a stipened, barely enough to meet end meets + $30k in savings (mostly invested in government bonds for safety and cash conservation) and no job seems to be in sight unfortunately (applies +1000 times online and through network and friends that gave good recommendation, probably has with my 6 months work stint in my resume).

Living with parents still, should I buy a $10k used Hyundai outright? Through Credit Card?

Or just use Uber to my courses? They're 3 days a week and the rest of the days I'm mostly at home and will finish em in few months.

Car that gave up is a 15 years old Mazda with over 300k miles, car stopped responding on the highway as both the steering and brake stopped responding and thankfully it was very early morning before the traffic jam, it became a safety hazard to me.
