Looking for a chuggable night time tea

I'll start by saying I wouldn't mind drowning if a vat of Bigelow Earl Gray tea. It's good hot. It's good cold. It's something I could make a gallon of and drink from for 3 or 4 days straight. All day. Every day. It's not an obsession. :)

I'd like to find the nighttime equivalent. Something good hot or cold. Year round. Something that's $0.16 a bag. No need to add milk, sugar, or anything. Just heat water, steep, go! Decaffeinated.

What's your daily driver, for the night time?

LTCG or dividends or cash to pay for big ticket fun?

Hey y`all. I'm 42, debt free, single, have a 6 month emergency fund, and I want to do a little travel. I make $70,000 a year and I'm in the 22% tax bracket. It would take me the rest of the year to save up for a trip if I paid in cash. I also have enough in VOO for LTCG to pay for a trip. I'd need $5,000ish for the trip. I'm curious everyone's thoughts on using a brokerage account for some playtime instead of just saving up in cash.

I'm still maxing my Roth and HSA and I don't expect to retire until I'm 63. If I have extra money around I tend to just hide it in the market. I only tend to do a trip like this every 4 or 5 years. As I get older I'd like to do this more often. I'm allergic to fun and I need your help. :)

Also, are there people out there that use VOO or JEPQ to fund some of the bigger ticket items in their lives while they save for retirement? When is this a good idea?

How much to pay for shoveling driveway in Indiana

I've got a typical 1 x 3 car driveway. 400 sq ft, maybe. I'm wondering how much I should pay to have someone come by with a truck and shovel the driveway of snow. I'm looking at snow blower prices and I can't justify spending $600 on a snow blower that will get used once a year.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Looking for an electric snow shovel/blower

After rehabbing a shoulder I'm in the market for an electric snow shovel or electric snow blower. I'd like to get a corded one just so that it outlasts the batteries of a cordless. But, I can be persuaded if the battery packs do a much better job. I'm looking to keep it under $300. I live in Central Indiana where it snows up to 7 inches at once, and a few times a year. Other years we don't get any snow at all.

cricket network quicker voicemails?

Hey,

I'm looking to get into my voicemails with the Cricket network on an Android. I punch in my password quick and the pound sign. Boom. Quick. Then I have to listen to the robot tell me each number of the phone number that's calling me before I get to hear the message. I swear it's the longest 30 seconds of my life. Any hot keys to bypass this?

People you can smell from more than 5 feet away

So, it's a problem if I can smell you from more than arm's reach away. I don't care if you smell bad, or if you think you're trying to smell good. Either way you just have to wash it and leave it alone. Wash again in a day or two and we can get along great. Don't try to cover stank up. Don't act cute like you smell nice when you're giving everyone a headache in the same room

Witch Hat Ateiler Ep 8 ending song?

The ending song for the 8th episode is fantastic. Shazam doesn't know it and I am hoping someone on here does. What's the name of it? It's the song that Qifrey is explaining to Coco what Silverwash, the eye condition, is.

Garlic replant/storage question

Hey,

I'm in Indianapolis. Zone 6ish. I've been growing garlic for 3 or 4 years now, and I'm having the same thing happen every summer. I pull up a lot of nice heads, but I still get about a third that need a few more layers of skin. They split open and I'm having to turn them into garlic powder. Is this normal to just lose a handful, or is there something I can do to grow more foliage and more skin for these guys?

Also, I can't quite make it until Halloween to replant the hardneck variety. I'm curious if anyone has tried to vernalize their garlic prematurely and just plant early. The foliage will take a beating over the winter it'll be better off in the ground than rotting on my shelf. Or, maybe just put it back in the ground now and let it ride. I can sort out the timing down the road.

Any thoughts on either of these two problems would be appreciated.

What happens if I trim garlic too soon or too late?

Hey Y`all,

This is my fourth year growing garlic and I guess I should be proficient at it by now. I dug hard neck and soft neck up a little early due to rain patterns in Indiana. They've been drying for almost three weeks. They're getting crispy. I'm wondering what happens if I trim the leaves too soon or too late if that makes much difference in the storing age of garlic. I can't find anything on Google without running into trimming SCAPES right away. Done that. :) I'm curious when you tell they are ready to trim and what the consequences of trimming too soon or too late are.

Whole house RO system

I'm a homeowner and I'm hoping to cut through some of the noise for getting a good system for my house. My water hardness is 19 gpg. The first video I watched was a guy saying, 'You can't run that through a filter. You'll break it.' I'm at a loss of what to do for a system if my water is terrible and I just want one system for the whole house. I'm on Indianapolis municipal water. Thoughts?

Keep my warranty for Subaru

I'm hoping to keep the warranty for my Subaru intact and I want to change my own oil since I'd have to pay the dealership a hundred bucks to do that for me. How are home mechanics tracking this information for Subaru to be able to keep their warranty intact?

So, the market isn't broken?

Hey Y`all,

So, we just found out that we're not getting rate cuts. Probably for the rest of the year. I'm expecting a little more red in the market this week. We had a bad day and then the market apologized. We've been seeing this for months. It goes up 2% and then drops a 1.5%. It goes up 2.5% and then it drops 1%. So, with no rate cuts coming up and they're talking about hikes, why aren't we seeing the market react in kind? Banks are even doing well!

How can I test my computer camera for an upcoming Zoom meeting?

Ok, so I'm 42 and just getting out of touch with technology. I had a Zoom meeting last week and I couldn't get the camera in my monitor to work. I bought an external camera in hopes I can use this to help. Is there a good way to test the external camera and make sure it will work when I'm on my next Zoom meeting before I have to struggle with it during the meet?

standard 19mm socket on an air wrench?

Hey Y`all,

I got a new set of lug nuts on my 06 Club. They now have a key socket I have to use. I don't have an air socket in 19mm. Only a standard that has to fit to the end of the key socket anyway. Should I be buying an air socket in 19mm, or am I ok to use a standard socket? Everything it torqued to spec (89lb) by hand every time.

Daily bible study/reading

Hello fellow Christians,

I'm wanting to get into the habit of reading my bible daily. I'm curious if you can share what your habits look like. Walk me through when you study, if you pray before or after, what you decide to read. Overall, what does a morning of bible reading/study looks like for you?

Best mid priced 70% dark chocolate bar?

Hi,

I wasn't big on chocolate growing up. Lately, I'm exploring dark chocolate. It would be cool to try some mid priced 70ish percent chocolate that won't break the bank. $4-8 USD. Fair trade for extra bonus points. What's your favorite?

What can I use to paint my center console in my Subaru

I'm looking to try to bulletproof my center console on my 2026 Subaru Crosstrek. The first day I had it my dog put her nails up on the console and filled it with holes. I joke that half the car is made of hard cheese. Not that sturdy. Not really funny. I haven't worked with anything like Rhino Lining and wonder if it's going to be like painting 100 grit sandpaper onto my console. Not very comfy. Is there something I can coat the console with to help dog proof it and still have something moderately comfortable for the forearm?
