How is this for my first bike?
1997 giant atx 970. Full suspension. 86mm front. 50 rear (i think) ofcourse 26 inch with cantilevers. Drivetrain full Shimano STX RC 3 x 7 (orginal 3 x 8) some new flip shifters. New seat post + Brooks c17. And Schwalbe smart Sam. So far having a blast. But having a lot of difficulty with Burms that are in downhill parts

Setting up van cantis?
Any advice setting up cantilevers like this? Currently not working great. Lacking Power.
Everything except rims are new, brake lever has correct ratio. Pads have a slight toe in

1951 Humber Nr.73
Restored this one a year ago. Although it was in a terrible state, it had some life left. This one was done more conservative. As much is orginal. Some parts of this i had to do sadly (40 and 32 spoke wheels) despite that it rides great.

Do we need a space for non road vintage Bikes?
Now and then i post or comment here. And keep noticing the high amount of 80/90s road bikes. Although they are pretty, i feel like we need a more diverse group. As the more standard bikes, tour, sports, etc. Are rarely shown here, or given enough attention. So maybe a group focused more on the standard bikes of the past, up until a certain year would be nice?
Coming from a Dutch person with way to much shit, including road and mtb

When looking at it from photos, can it be determined whether the bike is too small?
So far, feels good to ride. Although cockpit feels a bit cramped. Will increase stem length... While i know its impossible to tell whether everything is set up correctly... Would this frame work? What does everyone say

Loosing sense of identity?
Soo, to avoid making it long... Basically, figured out im bi sometime back. Then by accident i like using femme names more (used it as my real name for some time) and although i like the idea of being more femme.. i also sometimes have that for masc. Even though i hate how i look? Like at this point idek what i see myself as. Or what i should even think of my body because it doesnt feel like mine??? Idk lmao. Has anyone ever had this? Or know how to deal with it?

Customer brought spider infested bike.....
Was brought in for maintenance after it dat still for long. Noticed a yellow für thing under the saddle. Touched it..... And a very large amount of yellow spiders came out. Took it outside, hosed them away with water.... Checks again 5min later..... And there are more......
