Anyone tried the Nesti pod?

I'm looking for more ways to regulate myself at home and I keep getting sponsored posts on social media for the Nesti pod, which looks like a body sock thing (I'm not great with words, sorry). It's £50 on sale which is still a lot of money and I couldn't find enough online reviews for it. Anyone here tried them/got one?

Anyone else here with BPD?

I have BPD and Penelope Scott is one of those artists that feel like they have been in my brain and understand my experiences. Specific songs like Feel Better, Runaway, Mommy Fwiend, Gross, Sin Eater, and Girl's Always Right I really relate to on a soul level

What songs make you feel hot as fuck/euphoric?

I have been on t for about 10 days now and I'm starting to see subtle changes which are making me feel euphoria. I am autistic and music is one of my special interests and listening to songs that match my feelings is out of this world. I already have a playlist for generally empowering songs but I'm struggling to find ones that are like my trans experience. Any recs?

Did you get muscle soreness when you started taking T?

I have been on t for a week now and I'm getting some muscle soreness, particularly in my shoulders/upper arms and my thighs. I know t can help build muscle so I don't know if it's that, it's not my usual type of pain. I'm only on a low dose of t. It feels like I've done too much but I haven't done anything out of the ordinary in the past week.

Anyone else?

Lightweight face moisturiser help

I am transmasc and have just started testosterone and I am starting to get acne and my skin is more oily. I have found products that work for in the winter when my skin gets dry but I'm struggling to find one for the warmer months. I have combination skin, I get eczema on my eyelids so I have a separate cream for those areas. SPF is not an essential in a daily moisturiser, I use the La-Roche Posay SPF 50. I don't wear any makeup either

Best facial shaver with sensitive skin?

My skin is very sensitive and cuts very easily. I have just started testosterone so I am expecting to grow some facial hair and I want to get ahead of it by being prepared. I'm AFAB so I was never taught how to shave or anything, or what razors/shavers are best. I know you can get electric ones but I honestly have no idea how it works. Any tips would help!

I started testosterone!

I'm transmasc non-binary and I started testosterone yesterday! I've been waiting for years and years and it's finally happening, it still doesn't feel real. I know progress will be slow (I'm on the lowest dose possible) but I'm excited to see what it will bring

Where did you get your t gel applicator?

I've seen a lot of people online using various applicators for their t gel, I'm about to start and I'm struggling to find a good applicator, all of the ones I've seen are tiny ones for face cream!

Summer flares are the absolute worst and nobody in my personal life can understand it

Sorry if this doesn't make sense, or if it's long and rambly.

I hate summer so much, I struggle with temperature regulation, and sleeping is so much harder. It's now 6:40am, I have been awake since 4am because of a bad pain flare. I have taken the max amount of painkillers I can (my GP restricts my Codiene to 2 tablets in 24 hours, I've already taken 2 and it's not even 7am but it's not touching it) and I have used ibuprofen gel. I can't stop shivering and writhing around, I'm in so much pain that I cannot stay still. One thing that does sometimes help in a flare is a heating pad, but I'm already so hot that I feel like I'm going to combust so I can't even use that right now. It's my hips that are the worst and it's triggered dystonia so my feet are curled up hard.

People in my personal life are just like oh just get some rest later, stay in bed but I can't, I have to get on with the day. I have a dog who requires a lot of attention (she's a whippet) and is full of energy and I'm the only one home with her until 4pm and there's nobody around who can help.

I just want to curl up and cry but it's so hot that I can't even do that

How do you sleep in the heat?

I find heat SO overwhelming, it is sensory hell. I have various other disabilities (hEDS, epilepsy, and so on) which adds to the issues of temperature regulation. Sleep in the heat is virtually nonexistent.

Big temperature changes, like using an ice pack, sends my body into shock a little bit so I have to be careful. I can't sleep with a fan on, I find the noise and the feeling on my skin too overstimulating to be able to sleep. I am a socks on all the time person, but other than that, I wear as little clothing as I can. I do have a cooling blanket which can be helpful, but after around 10 minutes, it absorbs all of my body heat and no longer cools me.

What are some good headphones with strong bass and spatial sound?

I'm autistic and music is the one thing that helps me feel regulated, and being able to hear and feel the bass is important to me. I currently have beats solo pro which are dying, the bass isn't great and it doesn't have spatial sound. Any recommendations?

If you identify as asexual, did testosterone change anything on that front?

I am about to start T and I see a lot of people post about the fact that their sex drive skyrocketed. I identify as asexual, I'm not sex repulsed but it's just something I'd rather not do (I am in a relationship and my boyfriend knows all of this and has done from the start). Has anyone here identified as asexual and started t? Did it change anything?

What do you do when it's too hot to use heat treatments but they're the only thing that helps??

This might not make a lot of sense, I am very sleep deprived and my brain is very foggy. I'm currently having a bad flare up of hip and leg pain (I have hEDS and my hips have always been the worst) and heating pads tend to help quite well but the weather is so hot. I struggle with temperature regulation anyway, I'm always too hot or too cold. Help??

Those who were diagnosed late, what were some things you do/did that you didn't realise we're linked to autism?

I had my assessments and received my diagnosis last month at the age of 25 and reading through my report and hearing other people's descriptions of me was wild!

The first thing I learned is that apparently, my facial expression is neutral 90% of the time, I really thought I was out here showing emotions like the people around me, but apparently not! The way I talk is "unusual", it was described as jerky, halting, and slow. I also carry a water bottle with me everywhere (apart from the bathroom unless I absolutely have to because it's not sanitary) and they labelled it as my comfort item! The thing that shocked me the most though was the sentence "has a limited understanding of friendship".

What did you learn about yourself?

Had a slight mishap with a spot right next to my healed nostril piercing, should I visit my piercer?

My camera is broken atm so I can't attach a photo.

I had my nostril pierced in October, had it downsized in December to an 8, and then again last week to a 6 (I have a very small nose). I don't know what size the bar (flat back labret) that it was pierced with was. Healing went pretty well, there was no infection and I only had a slight irritation bump a couple months ago, I was unknowingly over cleaning it but once I figured that out, it went away. Before downsizing last week, there had been no pain, redness, crustiness, bleeding or anything and the piercer agreed that it was fully healed. I am not planning on putting a hoop in, I want to keep it as a flat back labret.

Today I woke up to a big white head spot right next to the piercing, I left it alone for a few hours but then this evening it was looking a little angry so I wanted to change it back to the longer bar to reduce irritation. I have coordination issues and I had bought a piercing ball grabber tool thing (I'm bad with words but it's like a metal pen) in anticipation. I tried using it and it slipped down the bar and popped the spot which caused it to bleed a fair bit and it is now very angry (I sterilised the tool and my hands before using alcohol wipes). Should I visit my piercer to have them change it to the longer bar? I'm physically disabled so getting to the piercing shop is a struggle for me. The piercing itself looks okay, there's no pain or discharge, it's just the spot

Anyone else get shoulder pain when you've got indigestion/gas after laparoscopy?

I had my laparoscopy just over 4 years and I got the typical (but weird) left shoulder pain after they pumped me full of gas. It went away after a couple of weeks. Since then, whenever I get indigestion or gas, I get the same weird shoulder pain, exactly the same as the post lap pain. Anyone else?

Best place(s) to get 100% cotton bedding??

One of my biggest sensory struggles is textures and I'm trying to find higher quality bedding that is actually comfortable. I come from a low income family so all the sets I own are cheap and low quality but I was recently awarded PIP and I want to put some of that money towards things that will last but I have no idea where to look!

I'm looking for plain or very minimal design for a single bed, no microfiber, polyester, "teddy" material, or whatever the hell "waffle" is.

Any tips would be fantastic!

About to have my first tboy summer, any tips?

I have hEDS and I am about to start testosterone. I'm starting on the lowest dose physically possible, I'm transmasc non-binary. I already struggle with the heat in summer and I know t can make you more sweaty. The weather where I am has started to get quite hot and I want to be as prepared as I can be!

Does anyone have any sleeping tips in the heat?

Summer is my most dreaded season, it's so loud, bright, busy, but the heat is the worst! I find it incredibly overwhelming and overstimulating and I cannot sleep.

I have a cooling blanket, very thin but comfortable pjs. I'm really sensitive to temperature and how things feel on my skin so I can't sleep with a fan on, I've tried for years (fan on during the day is fine), and things like ice are a no go. I hate the feeling of being wet so wet flannels are also a no.

I do the usual things they recommend like keeping the curtains shut during the day, opening the window later in the evening, drinking a fuckton, but I am really struggling.
