Aphids midway through flower, ok to rinse gently on warm day?

I’ve been battling aphids for the last few weeks on my plants. Been scraping by and using things that I have on hand. I’m going to go out and apply a light peppermint Castile solution to the leaves/ kill as many as I can. Can’t afford predatory bugs atm. I also have citric acid that I thought I could dissolve into water (1 tsp/ qt) but from what I’m reading this late into flower it’s best to not.

Anyways, I want to blast the existing ones off before I apply the Castile soap mix to the leaves (time consuming but feels like the only way without spending money, should there be little worry about mold if it’s a 90 F day with a breeze?

Thanks anyone who has any input

Does this length of beard work with current hair style?

It’s so f*ckin hot here, what if I just shaved it all off. Would this all still work.

2018 4Runner- transmission drain and fill at 107k?

I bought a 2018 4Runner recently but I can’t verify that the transmission or diffs have ever been done (carfax has a lot of “maintenance performed” visits but too vague to be certain.

At 107k, about to take a road trip down to Texas from Oregon. I’m going to do the diffs and T case today, but should I worry about a drain and fill on the transmission before leaving?

I talked to several techs at a nearby dealership and received mixed answers. One told me to simply keep the existing fluid in since I can’t verify it’s been done before, another said I should flush it. So idk what to do, but leaning towards either not changing it or doing a d&f, but not replacing the strainer.

Drivetrain fluids at 107k - before or after 4k mile road trip?

Bear with me here, I’ve slowly been stepping my vehicle maintenance game up, and I’ve gotten a few different responses on what the right path is here.

I bought a 2018 sr5 at 85k mi. About 2 years ago. I was dumb at the time, briefly reviewed the carfax and saw that it had been routinely brought in for oil changes, but many of the visits were simply labeled as “maintenance performed”. It was good enough for me.

FF to now, I’m at 107k and we’ve got this road trip coming up from the PNW to Texas and back. It’s only now that I go back and check to see the last time any of the drivetrain fluids were replaced and I can’t actually find any specific record of it being done. The only things I can actually confirm are oil changes and brake fluid.

I do know that it was owned by a rental company for the first 25k miles (I know), then sold to a private owner until 85k but that was a bargaining point for me and I’ve had zero issues with the truck, no slipping or weirdness beyond the 60 mph rattle that I believe many 4r owners experience.

I feel pretty comfortable with doing a drain & fill on the transmission, changing the differentials and T case fluids, and a coolant flush, but what should I be prioritizing? Someone told me to just wait until I get back if everything seems to be running fine, and others have said that I should change them all immediately

34m covering grays with hat, worth caring about?

Should I just rock the grays that are slowly but surely taking over the sides 😆

34M how tf do I style my hair

Previously I had asked whether to keep it short or long, I like the length it’s at but I feel like depending on what side you see me from it’s either good or weird. Should I keep pushing it over or try something different, and if so, what? I usually just wear a hat, maybe I just keep hatting it

Correct 5% front windows or leave as is?

I bought this 4Runner recently from a ford dealer, thought it was a good deal for the price/mileage.

I knew the tint was dark af when I bought it, but didn’t think to ask specific percentage, I just assumed they couldn’t sell me a vehicle with illegal tint (in Oregon, so 35%)

Took it to a tint shop, read front windows at 5%. I already figured they weren’t legal, but I’m going on a road trip in 3 weeks to Texas. I’ve never had an issue in the several months of ownership, have driven by many a police officer, state trooper to county sheriffs. Driven to Wyoming and back twice.

Would you reduce/ change to the legal 35% before going on such a trip? I’ve never had an issue but I feel like it would be asking to be pulled over. J

Does whistling count? And does my voice compliment it? (Regular singing included)

Somewhat related: I lost my job last week, and admittedly I am finding a lot more spare time as I search for something better and I’ve just been trying to put myself out into the universe however I can, even in silly ways with my awkward voice.

I wanted to learn one of my favorite songs by Sierra Ferrell, so I got the basic chords down, but I feel like my whistle works better with the song than my actual voice. Do I need more vocal range for this type of song?

Grow my hair out or trim it?

Curious if it looks better short or slightly longer/shaggier

A driftwood planter table I made as a gift for my MIL

I welded the frame together from some old square tubing, cut the top from plywood I found in my attic, and used driftwood collected during a family trip to the beach.

Found in storage container I bought recently. Is this a fake?

I have no experience with designer bags. Seems like it is in poor condition, but I can’t tell if this is a bad fake, good fake, or real.

Favorite cover, is it brown enough

Besides the unfortunate strumming mistakes (mucus has not been scraped), I feel like it worked out. But does it sound good, and more importantly, is it even remotely brown

I don’t think it’s Dogsbane, no milky liquid when I break a stem. And it doesn’t seem like St. John’s wart, it hasn’t flowered once in the 2 years I’ve lived here.
