Let’s say Columbus is between Omaha and Chicago. Do you want Columbus to move towards Omaha , towards Chicago, or exactly how it is right now ?

I guess I just don’t get it, I’ve never been uber wealthy. But I can’t imagine owning multiples sports cars, expensive watches, while so many are living in dire circumstances. I’d like to think I would help them. But so many choose evil when they become uber wealthy. I don’t understand

Found what looks like a hidden camera in my Airbnb, confronted the host, now he's threatening to sue ME for "destruction of property."

Stayed at an Airbnb in St. Pete last weekend with my girlfriend. Second night there she noticed a small hole in the wall of the bedroom behind what looked like a decorative clock. I pulled it off the wall and there was a small camera inside pointed directly at the bed. I yanked the whole thing out.

I immediately reported it to Airbnb and they suspended the listing. Filed a report with local police too. But now the host somehow has my contact info and has been texting me saying I "destroyed his personal property" and that he plans to take me to small claims for the cost of the device.

I have a little bit saved up but theres no way im letting this guy shake me down after what he did. I have photos of the camera in the wall before I removed it and screenshots of all his texts.

Can he actually sue me for this? And is what he did just a civil thing or is this criminal? Asking because the officer who took my report was kind of vague about next steps.

Location: Florida

Question for the property managers, if someone who is employed moves into their car for a few months to save up money, and so has a gap on their residential history, can that lead to a disqualification in their application?

So, last year I could get by with getting my meal cost down to $5 per day. Just had to be strategic and stock up with sales. Now it’s costing around $7 average. Curious how much everyone is spending for food currently

A long time ago, I made a post on a sub and for whatever reason I got banned from the sub. It was super trivial and it seems like the moderator just banned me for the hell of it. There is no bullying on it, no hate speech, no controversial rule breaking behavior.

So apparently, I commented on that sub within time, (forgetting that I had been banned on it long time ago).

This caused both of my accounts that I had for years to be banned permanently, I tried to appeal it and Reddit said it was permanent.

How are they getting away with this?

I love being Somali, and in every lifetime I would choose to be Somali!!! 🫡🫡

But I’ve noticed that some people feel ashamed of being Somali, and I don’t really understand why. Is it culture, stereotypes, personal experiences, or something else?

I’m genuinely curious, so for those who feel that way, why is that? Lol
