Do you think a blind app to make friends will work, or would you use it?

I do not know if this is relevant or not, but the reason I am posting this here is because I am also going through severe depression, and as a creative mind and someone who wants to fix everything or likes building things,

I want to make an app which will help people connect with like-minded people without showing their faces for 48 hours; if they feel it is fun to talk to each other, they can share profiles like Instagram or their numbers.

AI will match people based on their likes and dislikes. Let me know what you think about this idea; I am already learning full-stack development so I can develop this app myself.

How much should I save for a PC that can run almost all modern games and handle video editing?

I'm planning to save up for a PC that can handle both gaming and creative work.

I mainly use After Effects, Premiere Pro game development etc I also want to play almost all modern AAA games at at least 30 FPS (preferably higher).

I'm not looking for a budget build, but I also don't need the absolute highest-end PC. I want something that'll last for several years without feeling outdated.

How much should I realistically save for the PC alone? Also, what specs would you recommend for that budget?

What is wrong with indian companies? Pointing out dumb reason and acting as if they are bigger than meta or google ?

I recently interviewed with both Indian and international companies, and damn, there is a huge difference between them!

One Indian company wants to treat employees as slaves who will meet deadlines or work on holidays if required, or they will immediately fire you. Yes, the HR representative actually said this in the very first meeting! Their name is keemark.ai, and I was like, "WTF bruh, is this your first impression?" All they want to do is slap "AI" on their company name and do basic video editing outsourcing work, so I was like, "I'm out!"

As for the second company: I was 4 minutes late for the second-round interview because my camera had a glitch that I was trying to fix on my laptop. However, both the marketing manager and the interviewer brought it up twice, saying, "Late, late—please be on time." I was like, "Bro, you guys aren't paying me millions of dollars, nor are you Meta or Google." Even they don't act like this! I used to work at Praktika AI, and they didn't mind things like that at all.

Hr said are you serious for the role ? Because i was 4 mins late for the interview 😐

These Indian companies are built to exploit people while acting like they're trillion-dollar firms.

Experience with international companies was smooth decent they are chill and dont care for such nonsense issues.

Should i withdraw my application ? Because i feel they are acting very weird pointing our 4 min late joining as a big thing means they will obviously point out many things in future

not getting a job should i just work on game and app publishing full time or wait ?

Hi everyone,

I'm 24 from India and I'm honestly at a crossroads in my career.

For the past 4+ years I've worked in creative and tech roles with companies including Praktika.ai, A Digital, kids games and IDZ Digital.

My experience includes:

  • Motion Graphics & Video Editing
  • AI Video Creation
  • Graphic Design
  • Unity Game Development
  • Mobile App Development
  • UI/UX Design
  • Performance Marketing Creatives
  • User Acquisition (UA) Ads
  • 3D Art & Animation

Some things I've built:

  • A sketching app with 300k+ downloads
  • 7 published educational games through my kids game company
  • A cooking game that reached 1,000+ DAU
  • Hundreds of AI marketing creatives while working at Praktika.ai

This year I've applied to 150+ jobs (mostly Motion Graphics, AI Creative, Graphic Design, and Creative Director roles). I've had a few interviews and shortlists but no offers so far.

Financially, I have enough savings to survive for quite a while, so I'm not under immediate pressure to take the first job I get.

Because of that, I'm wondering if I should stop spending so much time applying and instead go all in on publishing games and apps.

The plan would be to:

  • Finish my Unity programming skills
  • Publish more mobile games
  • Build useful Android apps
  • Improve my existing games instead of starting from scratch
  • Try to build recurring income through the Play Store

The downside is that indie development is risky and success isn't guaranteed.

If you were in my position, what would you do?

Why indore is a karen, party poopers & boomers! who dont want others to enjoy

So just saw the new house parties not allowed for no reason 🙃 as if they are doing a huge crime!

Lived in pune, mumbai, bhopal, etc they are not acting like this! City with low number of jobs, goons everywhere with arrogant and rude mindset, trash infrastructure, cant handle basic traffic, development is slow as snail, but some how they are working on full speed to stop house parties 🤔
