Fast translation function for macOS

From time to time I need to translate some words or even phrases to different languages. My current actions for this are: open browser (actually I always have it opened), then go to https://translate.google.com in a new tab and then do translation there.

Whether it is possilbe to do this faster? Could you advice some good native macOS app for transation or Google Translation app for macOS?

How to track medium size buyings

During my YNAB usage for some months I see the same pattern: during budgeting we plane to buy some things but they are not goals. We can buy it during a month but its not just regular caffee visiting. They are more expansive. So I create separate sub-category for them. The issue is the next month I don't have the such payments anymore and, thus, I have to hide this category.

The quesiton is how it is better to track the such kind of buyings? Is there better option?

My small SOC

Hey, here is my small knife SOC with some history behind it.

The top knife — Victorinox Classic — I bought many years ago when I was living in the USA. It was a practical purchase, as I realized I constantly needed a small knife with me for various little tasks. Later, when I returned to Ukraine — my home country — the knife was confiscated by airport security before a flight because I had forgotten to put it into my luggage. Some time ago, I was gifted the same Victorinox Classic (the one in the photo) by my old good friend. Unfortunately, I lost contact with him after the beginning of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine (((

The bottom knife — cheap KANDAR Tactical Rainbow Wood KN37 — was gifted to me by my ex-girlfriend. We evacuated together to a safer place at the beginning of the war and did a lot of volunteer work. So this knife worked hard, and for me it’s a memory of that time.

The middle one — Boker Plus Atlas Copper — I just bought for myself because I liked its aesthetics (and copper patina kind of history too) as an EDC knife for my bag bigger than the Victorinox on my keychain.

Do you have any interesting knives with history behind them? Please share them here with photos.
