adding conversion tracking somehow tanked my conversions that was already flowing in?

google search campaign, max clicks strategy, advertising health service for a certain insurance provider. A niche that returns a pretty high CTR at about 17% on average. This was a new account that I didnt bother setting up conversions because the calls/emails were flowing at a PPC that I was happy with. That was until I added conversions to take advantage of a $600 credit offered. I added conversions tracking based on direct google ad calls, calls from the website, and contact form submission and suddenly the actual calls and emails plummeted even thought the CTR has remained the same and I kept max clicks strategy. I'm talking 4-5 leads a day on a $20/day budget to 0-1 leads a day and its been 2 weeks so far of this with the last week upping the daily budget to $40/day.

I am at a loss to why this is happening, any ideas?

What happened to duck donuts in rancho?

Was at Victoria gardens the other day and noticed it was closed. I think they were the only aritisinal/made to order donut shop in the IE that I know of and couldn't survive while the countless donut shops serving the same generic unremarkable donuts keep humming along?

Where to buy lobster roll buns?

I want to do some homemade lobster rolls but don't recall ever seeing those split top lobster roll buns that restaurants use in grocery stores. Anyone know where I may find some?

Weekend beach trip San Clemente pier

Never got on any socal trains before but was thinking of taking a ride to San Clemente pier as an out the box family excursion. I was curious of the logistics of jumping on the Metrolink with a beach wagon full of chairs, cooler, boogie board, etc... like is that doing too much or even allowed on the train?

First time smoking wings in a long time

I'm big on simply direct grilling my wings but I had too busy of an afternoon to man the grill like that so I set my akorn kamado to about 375 indirect with a hickory chunk and let these smoke to about 170 before tossing in bbq and smoking for about 10 minutes more. Easy and delicious

Pink lemonade tree condition check

Second year since I planted in a hot 10B zone but it's been a relatively mild summer so far. I fertilize regularly and keep it organic. It's on a low volume drip line 3 days a week. A few lemons are growing but there's some leaf damage. Cause of concern?

Any must try food spots along the 76 to Oceanside?

I will be driving in to the seabird for vacation and will stay in that immediate vicinity for the entire stay so I was thinking of grabbing brunch/lunch on my way there. Anything noteworthy of trying before I get to the Seabird?

Thanks

birthday dinner worthy restaurants for adult foodie with kids

I'm having a birthday soon but looks like I'll have my kids with me. So looking for something nice and trendy yet still welcomes kids with a kid menu. Id prefer the food to be like a modern American vibe where there's something for everyone. Also a place that can accommodate a party of 8.

Saint and Second and Granville comes to mind but I been to both several times so looking to try something new.

All suggestions are welcome, thanks.

Simple preseasoned legs and thighs

I love grilling over charcoal but just tossing these on my gas grill with smoking chips is one of my favorite quick and cheap weekday meals. Just ate the last 2 pieces at work and they were still very juicy even though I overshot these when I pulled them at about 187

Best options for local multiplayer monopoly game

Daughter wants to play monopoly as a family. I pulled out our board and noticed too much is missing to play so I was thinking instead of getting a new board that will likely get stuff missing again game why not try a pc video game version.

What would be my best options to test out for a 5 player local game?

First but definitely not the last time doing beef cheeks

Smoked and braised beef cheek barbacoa. The extra fat on the grill was used for the stewing stock

First lesson learned was a untrimmed pack is like 65% fat so I didn't get as much meat as I hoped out of this. Even after trimming, smoking, and braising there was so much unrendered fat I had to cut off as seen in last pic.

Second lesson is these can actually get overly tender real fast. The recipe I was loosely following called for 2 hours smoked 2 hours braised but I let it braise 3 hours and I would have preferred for it to have a little more chew.

But with that said these were still amazing. Added the trimmed meat back into the slow cooker stew and made street tacos with this. Got countless compliments from guests and my signature mesquite grilled chicken asada didn't stand a chance at being as popular.

Dear management please make a bigger dedicated free form area for all the ladies

I love my local planet fitness... 24/7, has squat racks and a few other equipments others may not have but the one gripe is all the people, mostly ladies doing their free form stuff in areas that is too close to other equipment. Particularly the dip bars... Usually someone is uncomfortably close to it but not using it.

Today I was waiting to use it with some woman working out just a few feet away. After it was clear she wasn't using it and wasn't leaving anytime soon I just went for it letting her know I'll be using it and was met with the most evil death stare. Shortly later she leaves, most likely thinking I'm some creep who invaded her space.

Can we please have a space for these people so others can use the gym equipment without these types of incidents?

Does sim swap still work with byod?

I bought an unlocked moto 5g power 2024 for my kid assuming it would work with spectrum byod. I plug in imei and nope! I read how in the past you just use a different phone, get the the sim card and put in the phone they claim don't work. Does this still work?

Planting a sago palm in a 2 X 2 foot space

I have a 2 X 2 foot space surrounded by cement. Can I plant a sago palm there? I wouldn't care if the confined space stunts the plants growth I just wouldn't want the roots to mess up the hardscape

Is water proof nuts and tape enough for direct bury line low voltage outdoor lights?

Only a few days after I had outdoor lights installed by a non electrician it stopped working. The transformer would trip after a few seconds and the lights wouldn't turn on at all. I'm now troubleshooting myself.

I dug up the first of 5 lights on this line and let that be the only one connected and it's working perfectly.

I dug up the rest and I think I see the issue. He exposed too much wire and it's visible even after the nuts and tape and one had the com and 12v wires touching each other and the slightest tug had the nuts slide right off. I'm getting new waterproof nuts and have them properly wire nutted together to see if this gets everything working but before I do is that enough? Or should I use waterproof junction boxes?

Pink lemonade tree has many buds that look burned up

Planted this 10 or 15 gallon a year ago in zone 10. It had a few gulf ball sized lemons at the time of purchase that never grew any bigger. Flowers sprouted this spring but I noticed most have turned dark black like in the pic. Any ideas? Thanks

Landscape lights installed stopped working after 2 days... No voltage probed from wires leading to lights and trip button goes down after a few seconds

So had these lights installed but he hasn't responded yet. I used a no contact probe on the wires going down the conduit to the lights and nothing no matter what mode I put this transformer box on. Also the trip button goes down after a few seconds of pushing it back in. Any ideas?

I have no bias or allegiance to Temecula but I found my Temecula winery visits much more enjoyable than when I finally visited Napa. The vibe in Temecula is just more fun and inviting, the wineries are more close together to easily hop to several in a day, and while I wont say Temecula has better wines overall, nothing I tried in Napa blew my away in comparison to anything I tried her.

I thought it was dead a few months ago because it didn't grow at all since I planted and pruned it a bit after planting as a 4ft tree. To my delight it's come back and even has a plum growing on it. It's overdue for another fertilizing but should I do anything else to it at this point?
