What is it really like to live in Cornwall?

Me and my family usually go on holiday to Cornwall once a year and we really do love it there, my husband and I have talked about moving there for years with our 4 autistic kids (3 are now young adults but still live with us and our 15 year old non verbal son) it's always been a dream to live near the beach but it's never really been something we were in a position to do until now, so I was just wondering what is it really like as this will be a huge decision for us to make and a huge change for our kids and they hate change, but I'm hoping it would be worth all the stress. I'm not sure what i'm expecting from this question i'm just really nervous about making a huge decision and regretting it, if you live in Cornwall please let me know your honest opinions, and if you have kids with autism please tell me what help there is out there or things to do, places to go etc. Sorry for the long post I just really don't want to make the wrong decision, thank you.
