I live miles from a bank and the machines in Asda take a percentage of the money and I don't want to end up out of pocket 😞
I have a little boy, well he is 15 but very small for his age.
He is a gestalt language processor and I recently found out that AAC could help him with communication, he will say words of things he wants or needs but just not in sentences unless it's sentences he's repeating from his favourite tv show or sentences he's repeating from us, just echolalia.
I was just wondering if anyone has noticed any improvement in using an AAC for their child and also would a speech therapist help my son? Both are expensive and I don't want to waste money on something that isn't going to help.

I remember having 3 computers in our house back in the 80s, we had the Commodore 64, the Commodore Vic-20 and the Commodore 128.
There were a few games I can remember like Mad Doctor, Herbies Dummy Run, Fantastic Dizzy, Bounty Bob Strikes Back. I was just wondering what games everyone else remembers because we had so many and it would be so nice to take a trip back down memory lane 🙂
I always wanted the Mr Frosty but never got it. I got a mega drive and a barbie ski chalet and other expensive things but my parents point blank refused to waste money on a Mr Frosty.

Me and my family usually go on holiday to Cornwall once a year and we really do love it there, my husband and I have talked about moving there for years with our 4 autistic kids (3 are now young adults but still live with us and our 15 year old non verbal son) it's always been a dream to live near the beach but it's never really been something we were in a position to do until now, so I was just wondering what is it really like as this will be a huge decision for us to make and a huge change for our kids and they hate change, but I'm hoping it would be worth all the stress. I'm not sure what i'm expecting from this question i'm just really nervous about making a huge decision and regretting it, if you live in Cornwall please let me know your honest opinions, and if you have kids with autism please tell me what help there is out there or things to do, places to go etc. Sorry for the long post I just really don't want to make the wrong decision, thank you.
