Hi can anyone please tell me what dosage of Ariel I'll need? I'll be using a Tide powder scoop for measurements. I normally do line 2-3 with Tide but the Ariel instructions say 1 full cup for XL loads! Surely that's way too much?

For context - I have soft water, a top loader with an agitator, I'm in the US, and I do extra large loads using warm water but I don't have a soak setting. I have a teenage son and I'm perimenopausal (iykyk).

I've had sooo much fading using Tide powder and even after switching to liquid Tide the color never came back. Is Ariel going to fade the clothes as well? (I'm aware of the lipase list but unfortunately I cannot afford any of the lipase detergents that don't have OBAs).

I see so many people say that Fetch clawed back their points. After I exchange points for a gift card, can fetch somehow claw those points back or deactivate the gift card?

My son just graduated high school and will be starting college soon and will need a new laptop. (He has a desktop and a Razer gaming laptop - but the Razer has to be plugged in all of the time, something is wrong with it).

I was going to buy him a new laptop for school but the college just gave him a used Lenova Chromebook.

Will this be good enough for school or should I still get him another one? He has his desktop for everything else so I'd rather not spend money if it's not necessary.

Also, any idea what's wrong with the Razer? He doesn't use it anymore because it has to be constantly plugged in. It's older.

I've been with Syncler since before when it went under another name (Z). I'm trying to renew but none of the options allow PayPal or CC, I've logged in to the resellers but the CC and PayPal options are no longer there, it says unavailable. My bank doesn't allow international banking transfers. As far as crypto, I know absolutely nothing about it, how to do it, or whether or not it's safe but my bank says they don't do crypto either.

I'm not sure what to do. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Hi so I've done oil infusions where you let the herbs soak in oil for a month, then strain but sometimes I need them asap so I also do it on the stove in a double boiler. But I saw someone say a while back that heating it destroys the healing properties and that this way is absolutely useless.

Can anyone clarify please? Is there a way to create an oil infusion in a hurry without destroying the healing properties?

My son just had a bunch of concerning moles biopsied (our family has a strong history of skin cancer) so I'd like to make an infusion of castor oil, lavender, chamomile, calendula, and rosemary in hopes to prevent scarring.

I'm writing this on behalf of someone else who doesn't have reddit. Seeking advice to pass along to them.

An unmarried mother and father and their toddler child were living in the home of another female. They do not have any type of written custody agreement. The mother caught the father cheating with the female they lived with, then the mom had a nervous breakdown and checked herself into the hospital, when she got out of the hospital a week later, the father and the female (that father was cheating with) had the mother served with a restraining order which prevented the mother from accessing her child. The father is manipulating the system and using the restraining order as an abuse tactic, keeping the mother away from the child and put the mother out on the streets as soon as she got out of the hospital. The mother has no access to her child, her vehicle, or any of her belongings or personal documents, she is homeless so had to stay with family 6 hours away. She has to somehow travel 6 hours back for court for the restraining order, even though the father has her vehicle she still has to find a way back.

The father and his new girlfriend are doing this out of spite and holding the child hostage. How can the mother gain access of the child? She has no money, no job, no home, not even her own vehicle, and now not even her own child because the father is using the child as a pawn to hurt her.

She cannot afford to hire an attorney.

ETA: no criminal charges and no police involvement other than serving mom with the temporary restraining order. Dad is a felon. Also, this is a temporary restraining order, they still have to go back to court for a judge to grant dismiss it. Mom did not commit a crime, she was devastated when she found them cheating so she sought treatment for herself. He is manipulating the system and using the baby as a pawn to hurt her.

I have to wear a mouth guard at night for tooth grinding. The dental hygienist told me to clean it with denture cleaner but I'm not comfortable with those ingredients 🫠

Is there a non toxic alternative? I've been scrubbing it with dish soap and a toothbrush, and occasionally with baking soda. But idk if that's good enough?

Struggling Newbie here

I'm switching from another app and from RD but I'm having the hardest time figuring out Stremio and TB. Any help is appreciated!

I figured out how to cache a magnet link on TB but I can't figure out how to view it on Stremio.

I may not be using the correct terminology but what I mean is I copied and pasted a magnet link in TB and clicked add T0rrent. But I idk how to VIEW it on Stremio. Can anyone walk me through it please?

Also, if I configure an addon on web Stremio on my phone in the browser, how do I get it to sync the settings on my fire stick? I've tried clicking Install in the addon that I changed some settings to, and also uninstalled then installed again but it's still not changing the settings on my fire stick.

I'm switching Debrid providers, it asks me on my fire stick to enter the API key. Since the API is long and not the easiest to type in on a fire stick, is there a way I can enter it on my phone using a browser (without installing Syncler on my phone) so it can sync to my fire stick?

I'm so thankful to everyone who commented on my last post about how to survive when the AC goes out in the south. The general consensus is to get a portable air conditioner with a drain hose out the window.

Are there any decent ones that are $200 or less than you've personally used and can recommend? (I'm a single mom so money is extremely tight. Recommendations are helpful so I don't buy something ineffective). Post a link or tell me brands of ones that have worked well for you. If there's any I should avoid, let me those too.

Also, I don't suppose any are designed to work during a power outage? Solar isn't an option, my apartment doesn't have a balcony or a yard, only a dark breezeway.

ETA: I forgot to include that generators are not allowed at my apartment complex 😞 I'm actually not allowed to have anything that uses gas/oil/charcoal, it's a huge lease violation.

I live in the south where it's blazing hot and humid in a 3rd floor apartment (it gets hot up here even in the winter). Per my lease, I'm not allowed to make modifications, install window units, have a gas or charcoal grill, there's also no outside outlet to plug up an air fryer (can't cook outside to prevent heating up the apartment), and I'm not allowed to hang dry clothes outside. All of the windows are on one side of the apartment but thankfully they're north facing window.

Please give me any and all tips on how to prep for when the air conditioner breaks, whether it be for what to buy ahead of time, ways to keep the apartment cool, what to avoid doing that increases heat, what types of meals to make that won't make it hotter, how to reduce humidity/prevent mold... Anything is appreciated.

I'm a single mom and limited on how much I can spend and limited on how much I can do as an apartment renter.

Just to clarify, the landlord does call a HVAC technician for repairs but the HVAC technician always says that it will be several weeks before the parts come in. So every time the AC goes out (for any of the tenants in my complex), it's usually several weeks while waiting for the HVAC company.

The humidity is a huge concern. I do have a dehumidifier but it generates so much heat that I can't even use it (even with the AC working it makes things so hot I had to stop using it).

If anyone has a link for a portable AC that works well I'd really appreciate it.

I don't have a balcony unfortunately. Instead of a microwave I have an oven style air fryer but that heats things up.

I'm new here and have never used Stremio. I've read the pinned tutorial in sub, I went through the bootstrapper process using my phone, clicked sync addons on my fire stick but there's still no addons showing up on my fire stick. I checked the web version and the addons ARE showing up on the web version. I checked my fire stick to make sure I'm logged in, I reboot the app... Still no addons showing up.

What am I doing wrong?

Also, once I get the addons issue corrected, how do I add my Debrid service and Trakt?

It's over 90 degrees outside and I live on the 3rd floor (heat rises) and my air conditioner just broke (HVAC tech will be here tomorrow, but repairs could be delayed depending on how long the wait for the part is).

I have an oven style air fryer (this emits a lot of heat), the stovetop (also a lot of heat), and an instant pot that I rarely use so I'm not sure about how much heat it emits.

Other than the obvious answer sandwiches and salads, what are other good meal ideas that won't make it too hot in apartment?

Also, I've got frozen chicken burgers thawing in the fridge, can I put them back in the freezer?

ETA the chicken burgers are raw ground chicken made into patties that I froze. But they've been thawing in the refrigerator.

I've been using Real Debrid for ages and using Syncler since the week it came out. I've been able to find almost everything under the sun, no matter how old or hard to find using this combo of services. But now with the recent RD issue, I'll obviously be looking for another Debrid provider but I'm also thinking about going with a free app (Syncler is a paid app and my yearly subscription is almost up).

So I'll need something that pulls links for older movies/TV shows in addition to the newer stuff (I watch a lot of stuff from the 90s and early 2000s) that can be installed on a fire stick.

Something that's easy to set up/use please. I'm so used to Syncler and RD that I've honestly forgotten how to set up and navigate anything else. 🫠

I prefer something that I can also add 🧲 links to if at all possible. Once in a while I'll have a hard time finding something older but I can usually find a 🧲 to convert for streaming. Also, what is everyone's favorite place to search for T0rrent 🧲? I used to use TorrSE but I need a new place, its been giving me an error lately.
