The first photo is of her sleeping on top of me. I originally posted her to r/kittens and someone warned me about Torties - I was so confused. I took her to the vet and the vet tech told me the same thing. I had no idea they were just genetically spicy kitties. Is your tortie a “typical” tortie with sass and attitude? Mila here is very shy and timid but she’s very sweet. I wonder how she’ll be as an older cat.

I did a trade and received these Singapore exclusives! I also was able to find the red macaw for $7 and I’m beyond thrilled to add all of these to my collection 😭

Genuine question to collectors, do you guys collect more than one thing? Is one collection more intense than the other? I collect trinkets and toys but I have several collections (Squishmallows, Rilakkumas, Keroppi, Palm Pals, Sanrio BABs, Sonny Angels) - I usually fixate on one at a time and then go back and forth. My collection keeps getting smaller and smaller and it honestly makes me so happy. For one, the smaller my collection gets, the more sentimental it becomes. It’s always bitter sweet sending my Squish on to new homes but I know they’ll be loved there more than they are with me now. I still have some that aren’t pictured here but I will probably be letting go of those soon.

This is my first time caring for kittens by myself and it is so rewarding, they are so sweet. I’ve always grown up with dogs and my parents bred them so I always had puppies, but kittens are a new realm for me. I’m so honored the cat distribution system found me. I love these guys so much.

This is Cheese. He is a male and still young. I had a bioactive setup but he had trouble burrowing so I switched to aspen bedding. I don’t see him burrow much, still sits in the corner a lot. Today was the first day I saw him inside this tube I had put there weeks ago. Do I need more aspen? Should I add more to his tank? He hasn’t eaten in months or shed - is that normal? I want him to be happy in his enclosure but I fear I’m doing something wrong. He doesn’t seem skinny or that he’s lost much weight since not eating. He behaves the same as usual, hissy and striking but never an actual threat. What can I do for my first hog? Please be kind! - A new hognose owner who wants nothing more than to have a happy hoggy
