Older bottle of Averna, worth selling?

I’m clearing out some of my Dads stuff and he has this sealed bottle he must have gotten some years ago.
We’re not really drinkers so won’t enjoy it ourselves.
Is it worth anything to try to sell since it’s an older bottle? Just wondering since I don’t know much about it.

What is this clip called at top of window? Repost with better photo

What is this piece called at the top of the window? It keeps the top window up and I need to add one to a window that doesn’t have one. Can that be done or are these only added when the window is manufactured?

Swapping dryers- how to make this work?

My Dad got a new dryer.
How hard is it to make this outlet work with this plug? I think the old dryer was 220 and this new one is too but plug it totally different.
Better to swap the outlet or the plug/cord?

Someone to evaluate my advisor?

I’ve always had an advisor since I kind of fell in with the same Merrill Lynch guy my parents had used for decades.

Honestly he seems ethical and knowledgeable but I don’t totally understand all of this and wonder if I should have made more gains over the years. Obviously what’s done is done but looking ahead as I near retirement I’d like to have some sense of whether he’s doing as much as he can or if there are smarter moves that could be done.

I like the idea of leaving an advisor and I have started a self guided investment account but I may just be someone who likes/needs the emotional feeling of having an expert keep eye on things because even though I’ve tried to educate myself I just always feel like there areas like tax loss harvesting where I could cost myself well over his fee if I tried to go on my own.

So I guess my question is, are there people who would do an unbiased evaluation of my portfolio (and in essence my advisor)?
I’m sure I could take it to a competitor but I wonder if they’ll make him look bad because they want to get my business so just wondering if there is a path to a more unbiased evaluation of what’s been done with my finances and if I’m on the right path.

Or open to any other advice for my situation.

Getting a transplant after SMP?

Has anyone had an experience where they got a transplant after getting their SMP and if the transplant didn’t take, the SMP wasn’t ruined if they wanted to go back to shaving their head?
Or is a transplant automatically gonna ruin your SMP?

Any idea of value for this silverware set? Or how much of it is actually silver?

My parents bought this over 50 years ago. It’s a beautiful set but none of us kids will really get any use from it and it doesn’t hold any real sentimental value.

How much is a set like this worth?
Will anyone buy it for more than its melt value? I don’t know how desirable these sets are nowadays.
I tried to take good photos but let me know if helpful to add any photos.

What’s causing this bubbling? Video link too

This cap is at the back of the basement and just a few feet before it on the outside of the house is the main downspout which handles a lot of water when it rains hard.
So only water that runs past it is the rain coming off the flat roof which runs right under this cap.

When it rains really hard, it starts bubbling and my fear is one day the cap pops off and feet of water swamp the basement.

How likely is this to happen?

If it’s helpful, I’ve opened the cap and it’s maybe 12-18” vertically down to the horizontal pipe which all the water runs through.
Just not sure if the bubbling means it’s about to blow or not.

Here’s video:

Anyone able to give more info or ID this watch my Grandpa gave to my Grandma back in 1941?

My grandpa gave this to my grandma on her 27th birthday, which was July 4, 1941, just as inscribed on the back. I’ll never sell it, but I do want to get a value for it for insurance purposes if it happens to be significantly valuable beyond the obvious sentimental value.
And I’d love to hear any thoughts or anything interesting about it if anyone happens to know anything.

Anyone able to give more info or ID this watch my Grandpa gave to my Grandma back in 1941?

This is one watch we’re keeping that has been passed down.
My grandpa gave it to my grandma on her 27th birthday which was July 4 1941 as inscribed on back.

Can anyone share any info on it? And maybe a value for insurance? Or if it’s valuable I’ll get a safe deposit box.

Best way to add a secure/keyed lock to a single interior pocket door?

We may rent out our home and want to find a way to securely lock an interior pocket door to a closet where we will leave all our stuff while the home is rented out.
We want to be sure the tenants can’t get in.
What’s the best way to put a very secure lock on this door that doesn’t look like a big ugly padlock but is as hard to get in as one?

Any info anyone can share on this watch?

Someone suggested I post this watch here. Out of the 30 or so random watches I came across in my parents stuff, this sounds like it is the nicest of the bunch.
Can anyone tell me about it and have a sense of value? Thanks in advance!

Two last watches to add to the last lot I posted...

Ok last two watches from that big box of my parents stuff… one does say it’s gold but no brand.
Any thoughts?

I never knew my parents had so many watches! Anything special in the lot?

In going through my parents stuff, I just kept finding watches. Neither of them collected watches but they had so so many. They were messy so maybe they bought one every time they couldn't find the old one?
It ended up as this full shoebox of watches.
I don't even know what to do with them all. I know I should sit down and research them myself if I want to sell them, but maybe the pros can save me a few minutes and just let me know if there's anything worthwhile here value-wise before | start my search? I'm guessing most of them aren't worth much and yes someone already broke it to me that the Rolex is not real :(

Anything worth more than face value in these dollars?

I need to start paring down my Dads collection. I just don’t have the space to save it all and so I’m starting with stuff I know wasn’t special to him.
Before I make these dollar coins (Sacajawea, Presidents and Susan B Anthony) all “Tooth Fairy” money for my kids or spending change, is there anything special or valuable about any of these that might warrant stashing them away until my kids are older?
I know he saved them because he enjoyed coins but wasn’t sure if they had more value.

What to look for in Kennedy Half Dollars?

My Dad has a whole pile of Kennedy Half dollars.
Some are in cases, some are just piled up.
What’s special worth saving or worth more and what’s really just face value?
Like why is an 1987 in a flip holder?

Any idea what could be causing this type of dishwasher leak?

Video link in comments

This dishwasher was leaking very badly from around under the right side of the front door.
I noticed the front right leg by that corner was bent and so I straightened it out and it improved a lot but still leaks a bit like seen in video— but this is much better than before
where lots of water was running out.
Any idea what could be causing this?

Water fills really low in toilet bowl - why?

(Photo in comment)
Just installed a toilet and the water doesn’t come up hardly at all. Any idea why? It flushes fine, everything else seems to be working right but the water after a flush barely enters the bowl and just fills to the top of the space at the very bottom.
