Series 8 dishwasher leaving marks on dishes

We've had this dishwasher for over 2 years now.

Gotta say, been disappointed.

My partner insisted on getting something cheaper, me thinking expensive is going to be better, turned out our cheap Hoover did a better job at washing.

On a positive note, we didn't buy it brand new, it was from a retailers outlet as it had a damaged packaging.

I've tried several settings of water hardness and rinse aid level, yet always end up with marks on glasses, cutlery.

The door also seems to have some marks left after each cycle.

Tried different tablets too. Currently using Miele dishwasher powder as powder was supposed to be better. Stil same to be fair.

Also tried different programmes, I seem to be using intelligent the most though.

Am I doing something wrong? Am I expecting too much?

I'm based in UK. Set the water hardness according to Google's water hardness in the area. But like I said, had it set to higher number too.

Is my fiddle leaf fig dying too?

Another plant that keeps dying on me.

I don't actually water it that much, maybe that's why it's dying? It looks like it's got some new growth that's dried up? Could it be due to under watering?

Leaves are also really spaced out

I got it from patch plants UK

Spider plants keep dying on me

I've had several spider plants now. Apparently Greta for beginners, yet all die.

I don't know if I over or underwater them.

Any ideas?

I'm guessing this one's dead now?

Blackout episode, season 14 in general

Hi all

I honestly think Blackout is one of the best episodes, acting emotions are just crazy good

People obviously are going to be judging Abby.

Maybe cause I can imagine what she must've been thinking, going through. Obviously so easy to judge when we're sat on our sofa. We love to say oh I'd never do that, oh I'd do this, when in reality we probably would've done things differently too.

What I don't get though, people complaining it's the worst season. Yeah, it's deffo not same as earlier seasons but cmon it's still much better than many Greys Anatomy with its cheesy soap opera crap.

So many people here hate on later seasons, I honestly enjoyed it as much as at the beginning.

The only part I didn't like was the Africa episodes honestly.

Still soo many great episodes, moments after Mark's death. Yeah, show kinda lost it magic to some extent, but again I would choose ER over 23 seasons of Grey's Anatomy everybody shagging everyone and their magic cures to rare diseases

Chipset drivers cannot be installed? RX 9070XT

Hi all

I was just browsing the net today when suddenly screen went off. PC didn't shut but screen went black.

I turned the PC off. When I turned it back on, monitor notification said that I'm not using correct resolution.

Turned out it got changed to 1024 instead of 2440.

I couldn't change it and it also looked like PC didn't recognise GPU..

I Tried to install drivers, it said update required, but it just kept going on loop. Pressed download, it was downloading, installing and then going back to same screen.

https://preview.redd.it/rk4jm3ou9ugh1.jpg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=928dafca215efe0c6dc96016cd87f832ee0eef0a

In device manager, GPU was showing as enabled.

I decided to use DDU to unistall drivers. Done it, managed to install some drivers, resolution back to normal but in AMD adrenalin it says I cannot update AMD chipset drivers.

My games also show up with Unrecognised graphic drivers.

Any ideas what happened?

GPU is just over a year old

Really not sure if it's worth to spend that much on a blender. Is it?

I'm based in Uk. Currently have Kitchenaid pure power blender. It was great at first, I couldn't tell there was spinach in my smoothies. Recently it got more fibrous, same with soups, can taste bits in them.

I've heard about Vitamix but didn't think it would be that much better.

Now, I'm thinking maybe I should just treat myself?

Is it actually gonna help with blending spinach nicely or are we paying mainly for reliability?

The only Vitamix I'm looking to buy is E310. I did read many great reviews, but also some average.

I also make frozen cocktails sometimes, Pina colada strawberry daiquiri

How's Vis Nav now July 2026?

Hi all

We've tried Vis Nav last year I think it was. It was amazing when it worked but most of the time it really struggled with navigating.

Is it a bit better now or have they even stopped releasing updates?

How to drain Eufy internal water tank for transport?

We're sending our C28 back. It keeps missing our rug in the living room.

It misses a lot of corners cause it keeps reversing oddly for some reason

Mopping seems good but again, with strange reversing sometimes misses a lot of areas. Also rollers seems to get oversaturated at the end of the clean.

I cannot find how to drain internal water tank. I don't want to send it with water inside in case it leaks but literally nowhere tells you how to drain it? Unless I'm blind

Xiaomi 15 worse battery life after debloating?

Hi all,

Decided to follow one of the guides to remove bloatware. Was kinda hoping it'd help with already poor battery life, jist after a year of use. It honestly hardly lasts a day even with little use.

To my surprise, battery seems to be draining faster? Could it be an app that I've removed?

Dishwasher powder dispenser

I got this dishwasher powder with dispenser a while ago.

Recently dispenser stopped dispensing, it started releasing some random amounts of powder.

I decided to weigh what Miele recommends and was quite shocked as it seems it has never worked properly. Seems like it's always been dispensing less than 15g that Miele recommends.

Is that a common thing with these bottles does anyone know?

Just finishing season 2 and can't believe how good it is

Obviously like all sitcoms really, sometimes it is a bit silly, but there wasn't an episode when both me and my partner were laughing.

All characters are soo likeable, maybe apart from Boo.

Glenn's richt, Jonah's gorgeous.

I just hope that will later seasons it won't get too silly and forced.

Xiaomi 15 Vs Oppo find x9 pro

I'm thinking about upgrading my Xiaomi 15, even though it's only a year old. The battery doesn't last full day anymore, pics are great but, not sure if it's the case with all phones, in full sun look rather dark and street lamps sometimes make visible rays, I've tried wiping the lens.

Would you say there's even a difference in camera or battery? Battery even though bigger, phone is bigger too obviously

I've also read that Oppos software is much better than Xiaomi's not sure if that's true.

Annoying apps in Xiaomi 17?

Hi all

Currently have Xiaomi 15, was thinking about upgrading to 17, not sure if it'd be much of an upgrade like. Baterry on my 15 doesn't last whole day anymore.

What I don't like about 15, it keeps showing random apps when I don't want it to.

Is 17 the same?

Washing machine keeps cancelling cycle during wash

We've had our washer for just over 2 years now.

Recently it's started playing up.

It sometimes cancels cycles during rinses. No notification, just cancels it.

Washer remains turned on.

I wouldn't say the washer is overloaded, like I said we've had it for 2 years now.

It's really frustrating.

Any ideas what could be causing it?
