I messed up some of the timings with the chorus. The whole timing of the lyrics in the song is a little tricky for me for some reason.

That seems so excessive to me. I’m a DIY homeowner so be kind.

I definitely needs to be mixed better with better takes on a chorus or two, but I wanted share and see what people thought about it.

I had a few good lines and an idea. I can’t tell if it’s good or not. I edited out parts and it’s not exactly how I want it, I’ll probably mess around with the structure if I decide to keep it.

I love it. It can do fuzz or it can sound clean but bite when you dig in a little. It’s sick. I saw Marcus King has it on his board, and then I went to the YouTube to confirm it was a tone I was chasing. I’m really happy with it.

I planned to get a mid-rise/ height fiberglass cap, but I can’t help thinking they look bad on my truck. Is it the long bed? Or the cap height? The 4th gen and caps clash? Is it the stock suspension look with the large cap? It could be just me…

This is the best picture I have of my current pedal board. I replaced the Tubescreamer with a Mostortion clone. I purchased a Tru-fi colordriver to take the place of my Big Muff Triangle (the Big Muff is good, but I think the colordriver offers more clarity and versatility).

I need to make room on my pedal board to access the side master volume on the colordriver without upgrading board size.

Out of everything, I use my wah and my delay pedal the least. However, it feels sacrilegious taking them off. Does everyone need a delay pedal?

I stack the Tumnus and Mostortion all of the time and pretty much always have the compression pedal on.

The volume/ tuner pedal, A/B Y switch, and acoustic preamp pedal have to stay. I use the later 2 for switching my signal when I switch to acoustic.

Should I dump the delay, wah, both, or something else?

I don’t know the year. They were married in 1945.

This is a rough draft for a song, so I don’t have real drums or bass or a good mix.

R8 Les Paul middle position neck pickup rolled off around 7 plugged in straight to a Mesa Boogie California Tweed 2 watt setting with Gain nearly dimed.

Did I get it or not. To me, it’s close and the sound difference may have more to do with the playing, but that guitar tone is top 5 all time.

I was thinking of a 23” wide unfaced R19 fiberglass product. I’m not sure if that’s what would actually be a good option.

My goal is to provide a little bit of sound insulation between the floors without going Rockwool due to cost. I used R30 Rockwool 23” wide (cut in half lengthwise) batts in my music room area.

Thoughts? What might you change?

How I want to sing it is a little out of range. This is me trying it in a lower register. Not great, but I love the intro. What do you think? Scrap it?

It’s hokey, but kind of catchy. Do you like it?

Fun fact, I’ve never been to West Virginia. I had a roommate from there once. Do you like the song?

It’s not smooth yet, but I’ve made it up to the solo. This jam is such a creative way to play basically 3 chords. Jimmy Page is a genius.
