This is my first time getting any kind of extensions. Let me preface by saying my natural hair is incredibly fine and a fart could dry my hair out of the shower so I'm not used to doing a whole lot for it.

I did something stupid and put rose hip oil on them thinking it would help the frizz and dryness, I then found out the opposite is true 🙈 I bought some proper products, hydrating shampoo and conditioner. I also had a marula oil product line I used, mask, detangler and creme during/after shower.

This one spot was bothering me since application, I think my scalp was angry. I had a bump, itchiness and soreness near the spot it was applied to and as soon as it slid off I felt immediate relief. I find have to use head and shoulders on my scalp because of how angry it gets, even before extensions.

I find it impossible to do any kind of tying my hair back. Even in a low bun or pigtails. After a little bit I feel it just tugs too much on my scalp, even if I pull it loose. Is this normal?

Our girl keeps catching prey in the backyard

We live on a park where there's lots of critters. Our yard is fully fenced in, against a chain link fence as well that belongs to the city (so double fenced). We have a deck and made a gate to keep our girl up on the deck in the evenings or when we're not supervising but sometimes we get comfortable with leaving her in the yard, because who could deny that cutie such great space?

She has caught a squirrel, possum, skunk (twice), dug up a bunny nest and just last night caught a baby raccoon. Her prey drive is intense, watching her thrash the raccoon around was tough - and she is powerful, 70lbs - it took both my partner and I to separate them.

So the advice part.... We have two cats. We've had her since a pup (4.5 months) but she's a rescue and has taken a lot of training to get them to live peacefully together, mostly just getting her to respect their space. She's very good with them, but after seeing her thrash the baby raccoon around (that wasn't much bigger than our cats) it worried me a bit.

She knows the difference right? The cats are part of her "pack"?

✨ EDIT: thank you everyone for your feedback and ideas. Definitely going to start with getting a bell for her collar. Our cats have always have had safe routes and spaces, they have a whole floor that the dog isn't allowed to get to. I think the latest event spooked me - it's been a busy summer for wildlife. She's a good girl and we are doing our best for this northern stray rescue.

Why won't she come inside? She doesn't even look like she's enjoying it.

My dad's new girlfriend shouldn't be here

Shark attack mocktail for my birthday.

It's been over a year now since my dad's girlfriend had a life altering brain aneurysm. She's long term care now in a wheel chair. She can't swallow or communicate. My mother had a brain aneurysm as well that she survived but eventually 10 years later chose MAID when she had incurable cancer. My dad started dating this girlfriend 11 months after my mom passed, my dad and mom had been together since they were kids. Now he spends his days taking care of his new girlfriend and I don't know how to feel. Her family thinks he is after her money. He isn't. He just wants someone to love. I feel bad for my dad. I feel bad for his girlfriend. I also feel cheated of having more time with my dad.

I thought they fixed 150 bugs...

Honestly, without these glitches the game wouldn't be as charming and fun.

Best type of brush for this beast?

We have a rake, a comb, dematter, a tiny slicker brush (meant for the cats) .... She hates being brushed and they all tug a bit. What is the BEST brush? A big slicker? Best brand? Her tail and butt curtains are the worst. Need your reccos!

I usually work upstairs looking out the front window for entertainment purposes. We've lived here for almost 8 years and have seen alooot of shit happen. We have a front camera to capture crime, oddities and wildlife. AMA

Some are cystic. Haven't worn makeup for a while. Some along my jawline as well.

I had just cleaned all my sunglasses and glasses.

Not sure this is the right place to mention but I have Endometriosis and it's hard to keep track of my cycle because I don't really have one due to the medication I'm on. Does this look hormonal?
