Question about flares / anaphylactic spectrum

Do you guys ever feel like your brain is hot when you go into anaphylactic spectrum / flares? My brain will get this firey feeling in waves - and I assume it's like... adrenaline or something?

I got engaged last week and I just really want to shout it to the world! What’s some happy news you’ve experienced recently?

It was so perfect, just us and a movie and some snacks. I love this dude so much and I can’t wait to spend our whole lives together. Would love to hear from other people what you’ve got going on that’s made you happy recently!

Please help!

Hi there, anybody know why my hair would be doing this thinning halfway? It is also overall thinner than it used to be. I have listed my conditions below, and the meds I take for those:

- Hashimotos (started 25 Levothyroxine in Oct 2025)
- insulin resistance (started semaglutide in Oct 2025)
- endometriosis (had surgery aug 2025)
- hEDS (low dose naltrexone)
- mast cell disease (40mg pepcid)
- pots (Desmopressin)

I also take 30mg cymbalta, and low dose of adderall.
I also take several supplements. I’ve had low testosterone (better now, took DHEA for awhile), low ferritin (I take iron). I take vitamin D, multivitamin, probiotic, vitex chaste tree, cranberry, magnesium citrate, gaba magnesium.

I very recently have started to use The Ordinary multi peptide formula every couple days on my scalp. I have derma rolled twice (starting to do every other week). I sleep on a satin pillowcase. I only use silk hair ties, but I have recently (last few weeks) started to use a claw clip majority of the time. I have gotten trims every few months in the past.

Why is “fingers crossed” used for both lying and luck?

I’m curious about the etymology here. People cross their fingers when lying, but also when wishing someone or something luck.

What are some weird/scary experiences you’ve had from rejecting a man kindly?

Trying again because my last post was deleted. I saw a really interesting post about horror stories of being rejected by women, and plenty are of course just cruel by the women, and really not ok. It had me thinking about the horror stories we experience when we’ve tried to be kind in rejecting a man. I think it is a subject always worth talking about.
What are some of your experiences?

The build of a man and his cheeks.

Just a little vase with a butt. Still to be polished off, of course. But i was delighted by the build! I was giggling the whole time.

Is this squirrel ok?

My folks sent me this photo of this squirrel, and this doesn’t look like food storage. Could it be a cyst or something? Do we need to call an animal rehab to look for it or is the squirrel ok?

Please meet Scout. She’s crazy, but we all will pretend otherwise.

She’s also a princess who expects popcorn bites, sometimes gets her tooth caught to where she looks like she’s a part-vampurr, dotes on her sister Hobbes even when Hobbes wants nothing to do with her, and is just cute as can be.

Could this explain why our monthly bill is so high?

I’m in an apartment that is ~1200 square feet, and my electric bill is insanely high for this size (~$300/mo). We had maintenance replace our water heater last year, give us a different thermostat, etc. We just found out there is a leak that’s going down into the neighbor’s garage. I’m attaching a photo of where the leak is coming from. Could this explain why our bill is so high?
