Shark inlay glows in the dark btw. Combining metal shapes with classy specs.⚡️The inlay design is about sentient life leaving the body. There is a whole story and universe to them, with movies and more on YouTube. Gonna replace the bridge and pickup with black ones on the natural…
Never seen a carved top Explorer/Star/Stealth/Lightning Bolt ⚡️
Never seen a carved top lightning bolt ⚡️
If I sand back will it go blue in the lines?
Rest of the body in will be natural though so maybe it will still be ok.
Hi everyone hope you’re keeping well.
I have a limited company that doesn’t really trade but I’m building up my product range to be ready when we do.
I mainly want to sell guitars as our highest ticket item but we’re unique as the guitars have inlays derived from the story of our movie featuring our characters and universe designed to end captivity and animal exploitation-so come with other products derived from the same source, meaning that we also do shoes, backpacks, and jackets. No other guitar brand or backpack brand exists like us.
My question is this.
Let’s say I buy a car which I paint to look like a shark to advertise my company. I call this a business expense as I’m using it to advertise my company, what tax benefits will I get?
Is it solely that the cost will decrease my total profit, meaning it won’t reach a taxable point eg over £80k having to go to VAT…?
Or are there any other benefits?
Kind regards.
Tryna go for this blue but keep the wood underneath visible like that purple pic. This blue is tinted with 5% but I can’t see the wood underneath it and I don’t want to lose that…not figuring but not the pores either idk if it’s actually called the grain just those lines, get a new paint made with less % tint?
Is grain not more the pores in the wood? I’m talking about the lines and arch shapes and some straight ones there in a slightly darker shade of the surrounding wood. Is that the grain?
Wouldn’t grain filler then really be more pore filler?
Oviously mine is mahogany not maple, but I want to show the grain….the lines on it…and keep that visible whilst making the top blue and leaving the rest natural.
How do I do this?
Stain? Spray paint? I do not want it solid colour. Maybe spray then sand back and clear coat?
Tinted clear coat?
It gonna have a white pickup and chrome bridge, hopefully can get away visually without white binding.
Please comment with images!
I wanna go for a light blue too but keeping the grain visible and a natural back and sides. However I’m worried about the blue clashing with the brown…could do a sunburst in amber but that won’t really fit the shark theme and we already have a yellow one…what do you think I should go for? I really wanna be able to see the grain, the video doesn’t show it best, is there even such a thing as transparent blue and won’t it like mix with the brown in the wood and look bad??The shark inlay glows in the dark btw.
I want to leave it natural with a light blue finish to the top, but I don’t want the blue to clash with warm brown or orange
