If parents fail to comply, there should be a wellness check.
There are lots of innocent children who are extremely isolated and raised with bullshit by parents who think they know best (but don’t).
This especially goes for anti-vax parents but that’s a whole different discussion. I’m strictly speaking of general wellness.
If this isn’t already a thing it should be.
Nothing else, really. Just wanted to get it off my chest I guess.
Alright,
Imagine a singe player campaign game where you play as an average civilian living on the planet of your choice. You begin right before TCW and end at the end of the OT.
What keeps this from getting boring is that there are a variety of jobs and opportunities, legal and illegal.
You can’t choose to join the Republic, CIS, Empire, or Rebellion because that would defeat the point. But you can join local gangs, work as a low level merc, etc.
I’m not a game developer or anything but I really like the idea of witnessing this chain of events through the perspective of an average citizen. It’d vary greatly planet to planet, of course.
Doe anyone else share this interest?
I have a friend I like to mess with but don’t have a lot of money to spend on pranks.
I have his email, Instagram, Snapchat, phone number, and home address
Ideas?
I last worked retail pre-COVID, so I wouldn’t know.
Whenever I’m at the store I think about how stressful it must be to be responsible for like 6 machines. Each has a customer with their own problems. The machines breakdown (and that’s somehow your fault in the eyes of the customer).
Do you feel that it makes your job easier, harder, or is it just a different stress?
Additionally, I have 3 years of social media experience, 3 months of internship experience, and I regularly network with people online and in person.
What else should I do? Am I doing something wrong?
When I was little I used to think “oh wow, my dad is a spy!” As an adult I realize he’s a spineless cog in the war machine
Size 9 shoe for scale. Found in Portland, Oregon.
I’m in NE, don’t drive, and don’t want to work with animal products. But I do want to volunteer, get to know people, connect with the community, and network.
An example would be Trumpers.
Despite a lot of them being disadvantaged people who were taken advantage of, I can’t help but think that their hate is holding them back intellectually and that perhaps they were born with a low intellectual ceiling.
I hate to say stuff like this but, previously to Trump, I assumed the best in people and that, when provided with sufficient resources, anyone can learn and grow.
I have a BSBA in Marketing, 3 years of volunteer experience (ongoing), internship experience, work samples, and I have been networking obsessively alongside filling out jobs applications.
Nothing.
I am beginning to feel really bad about myself.
Is this field of work just THAT hard to break into?
Just need to get this off of my chest to people in the industry. Are my qualifications even legitimate?
I’m a Portland vegan and am thinking about starting a group revolving around different projects we are all working on to better the lives of animals.
Is this something you would be interested in joining?
This is both for people who are already working on projects or are looking for one. Relaxed and casual environment.
Thanks!
