The simplest pleasures in Kyoto, Japan

In an unassuming, hole in the wall restaurant in Kyoto, Japan where business men and women smoked cigarettes while grilling the freshest shellfish you’ll ever find after a long day in the office.

Love This New Green

I’ll forever be heart broken that they discontinued raintree (my all time favorite Bottega color) but this one will also do.

Cheapest Place to buy Moncler?

I recently came back from Japan and all the vintage shopping it had to offer but was disappointed to see little to no moncler jackets in the shops.

I’ve also purchased from TRR but like a lot of their items, I was sent the completely wrong item than listed on their site and have given up on them since.

Maybe duty free when flying international? FWIW, I live in the Bay Area.

Refuse to Play the Game

I respect those who do it but I personally refuse to play the Hermes game in hopes I’ll be granted the creation of a wish list. I just won’t do it.

I travelled to Japan with hopes I might find a preloved Kelly 28 for a “reasonable” price (whatever that means) but I wasn’t going to bend over backwards. For whatever reason, my last stop of the day had exactly what I never knew I wanted. I scored a 2005 Kelly 28 in box leather in a yellowish/tan color (Please don’t come after me for not knowing the exact color) and it’s an absolute dream. It has dings and scratches but that’s what drew me to it even more, it means that the bag was well loved and not babied. So introducing to this group, my new to me baby!

Please?

I found this incredible Kelly 28 box leather in a vintage store in Japan but am unsure of the stamp. Can someone please please take a look and tell me if it looks good or not?

$40. How?!

Is it just me or have prices been kinda nuts lately? These 5 items cost me $40 today including two items on clearance. I suppose it’s still better than buying one item at Sephora for the same price.

Tinted Brow Gel for Beginners

Please help a newbie out with your favorite tinted brow gels. I’ve tried the infamous NYX brow gel in dark brown(which I hated), Essence make me brow in ash brown, ELF wow brow in neutral brown but am now looking into Anastasia volumizing tinted brow gel or benefit gimme brow, both of which I know are classics. Do you have a preference and/or other recommendations for a newbie such as myself?

I’m wearing the nyx zero to brow gel in espresso in this photo btw which I like the most but still not great.

Unpopular Opinion

I can’t be the only one who just does not like the infamous NYX brow glue, right?! I’ve also tried the Essence make me brow and ELF wow brow, neither of which I’m ecstatic about but they are miles better than this NYX option. Please give me your best brow recs!
