Ghostwood question
I got a really pretty chunk of ghostwood I plan to put in my office’s communal tank that I look after. As this is an established tank already, I am wondering if anyone knows if this wood gets the biofilm on it at first like manzanita tends to? I’m trying to keep everything as normal as possible for the tank inhabitants while also redoing the look of things. I do have shrimp so I’m sure they’d appreciate a biofilm snack lol
Has anyone got any insights for things that might be different when it comes to this wood? I’ve never used it before.
Pic attached is the wood that’s wet, I’ve been soaking it. Isn’t it pretty?!?
