I am trying to encode footage that I captured with my action camera (DJI Action 5 Pro), but the bitrate on the encodes is much higher than the original files. Are there settings/tweaks I can use with x265 to get my bitrates down to 15-25 MB/s while preserving most of the detail and avoiding heavy artifacts?

I have tried CRF values from 18 to 26 and still get huge encodes, bigger than the original. At CRF 26 I am starting to notice quality degradation and the bitrate is higher than the source. I have also tried 2-pass, with ABR between 15 to 30 MB/s. Even at 30 MB/s there are noticeable artifacts and quality degradation.

I have many videos that I recorded in HLG (BT.2020) that trigger the HDR mode on my TV, but are not recognized and tagged by Plex as "HDR." How do I fix this? Is there metadata that I can add so that Plex correctly identifies these files as HDR?

I purchased Resolve Studio and am trying to work with HLG video captured from my Action 5 Pro. Not matter what settings I try (I've been researching and tried many), even when Bypassing Color Grades and Fusion Effects, I cannot get the final exported video to to come out correctly.

The raw files from my camera are HLG and play in HDR on my TV and computer.

With all of the setting combinations I try in Resolve, I can only get one of three outputs:

1. A file that is recognized as HDR, but is way over exposed (I am probably using that term wrong).
2. A file that is not recognized as HDR and has correct exposure
3. A file that is not recognized as HDR and is way over exposed

How do I use Resolve with the HLG files from my Action 5 Pro and get correct HLG or HDR output?

I recently added an External Library which contains just one video file (for now).

Immich scanned and found the file, but it is not shown in the Timeline and it is not shown in the new Recently Added view. How do I find it and determine why?

I am trying to get my Action 5 Pro setup for recording my dirt bike rides. I would like to film in D-Log M (or HLG), but it seems that when using this color format you cannot select "Stabilization Scenario: Sport."

How is Stabilization Scenario: Sport different than using Rocksteady?

Would it be better to film in Normal color mode so I can Sport mode?

Where can I find an official list of all supported setting combinations for this camera?

One specific combination that I need is:

• HDR
• 4k (or 2.7k) 16:9
• 60 fps
• Ultra-wide
• Rocksteady

Is this combination available on the Action 4 camera?

Even with labs firmware, is there really no way to record in HDR, 60 fps, and Superview.

I have a Hero 12 with the latest Labs firmware installed and have created a QR code using the GoPro QR Code Creator.

When I scan the QR code, only some of the settings are applied.

Instead of getting:

• 2.7k
• 60fps
• Superview
• ISO min = 100
• ISO max = 800
• EVO Comp = -0.5

I get:

• 4k
• 30fps
• Wide
• ISO min = disabled
• ISO max = disabled
• EVO Comp = disabled

What's going on?

I need at least HDR, 60 fps, and Superview. I could have all this (except HDR) with me Hero 11... How do I get this with the Hero 12?

In versions prior to 8.0, the address bar could be configured to prioritize History results above Search. How do I accomplish this is in version 8.0+?

e.g. I want youtube.com to be the top result when I type "you"

As a workaround, I created a bookmark to Youtube.com and gave it a nickname of "you", but it still shows below Search.

Is this a bug? I reported it on the Vivaldi forum, but nobody there seems interested in fixing this.

I have a 12 gallon waterproof plastic storage bin that I keep my filament in (it can hold 15 spools). I dry all my filament before putting it in the bin and I have about 1 lb total of desiccant in 4 bottles inside the bin.

The humidity inside the storage bin is still around 25 %RH. I have checked the desiccant and have even dried it, but the humidity won't go lower.

Is 25 %RH sufficient for storage of PLA, PETG, and TPU?

I am trying to find an electric dirt bike for my 14-year-old, but this seems to be an area without many options. I want something similar in size to a CRF100 or TT-R125. I see so many bikes with small tires (14" front and 12" rear) that don't perform well off-road.

What I want:

• 19" front wheel
• 16" rear wheel
• 26-30" seat height
• 60-72V
• 20+Ah battery
• Built for real off-road use

Does this exist?

I've got a Pixel 10 and noticed the other day that the blue dot for location access was showing on the AOD. I left the phone alone for over an hour, checking it periodically, and found that the dot was on the entire time. It did not go away until I turned on the screen.

Is this normal, intended behavior?

I am worried about screen burn in.

I recently upgraded from a Pixel 4a running android 11 to a Pixel 10 running A16. Now I am seeing delayed notifications from an older app that I use for calendar notifications.

I have already set battery optimization for the app to unrestricted, yet I continue to see delays in the notifications. Are there new restrictions in A16 that cause this? Any workaround?

I just got a Pixel 10 and am trying out lock screen widgets, but finding them to be buggy. Wondering if it's just me and if there is anything I can do to fix it?

I have just one widget, the Google calendar widget, setup.

About 50% of the time, when I swipe to see the widget I get a blank screen or a screen that shows the "Add widgets" screen: "Get quick access to your favorite app widgets without unlocking your device." If I swipe back to the lock screen and then back to widgets, the calendar widget will then display.

Edit: I've tried a few more widgets and it seems that this bug is only happening with the Google Calendar widget. The only widget that I actually want on my lock screen...
