I bartend in a college town and it's amazing. girls will carry a purse but have to apple pay (which is inconvenient at my work but not impossible... how can you not carry your card? Guys will have to pull a picture of their ID on their phone (which i can't accept) because "i cant fit it in my tiny ridge wallet" like, How is it this difficult for people to just... carry the basics for any transaction at a bar? All you really need is a card and an ID. instead, you have a picture and apple pay. come on now.

1A Camping, when to arrive for spot near track?

Camping across from turn 4 in lot 1A. we have family that camps in lot 4 and we'd love to be as close to them as possible. How are spots assigned? is this a matter of showing up right at gates open on thursday? how early do people normally arrive?

Whoever created gates e40-42 at ATL can suck a fuck.

It's a mile from the train. There's no moving sidewalks. Super limited dining and it's just awful. No thank you.

Race track camping tips and advice?

So, wife and I are camping next year for the indy 500. We're starting prep early because we have no clue what we're doing. but here's what we have: coolers, tent, toiletries, the basics..... but what do we need? we're planning on renting a tent for our electronics and such. but otherwise we're clueless and just want to know what to expect and things we might not be thinking about.

Lot 1A Camping questions

FIrst time camping for the indy 500 (been attending for a decade plus, but first time camping). Is there anywhere on site that has ice? it's a 4 day pass, im assuming I can get in at any time on thursday and we'll be good?

it says there are showers on site. im assuming it's included in my camping fee?

anything else I need to know? trying to figure out food and everything, but overall looking forward to a great time at the 500

Dolly Parton Line Dancing tonight at Grizzle beer

I know it's technically not Athens. But I saw people were asking about dolly events this week and figured I'd share.

If you could ban left turns from any intersection, where would it be?

(or at least add a left turn lane)

A guy murdered a dude behind toppers while on the clock. I have no evidence. But management didn't do anything.

Joining a league intimidates me

i'm dogshit, but want to get into playing more. There's a pool hall near my house that I could play leagues at but the handicap system sucks and I know i wont win a single point all season. is there any point? i mean, in bowling you get pins. in golf you get strokes.... but if im just gonna lose every game is there a difference if i get games in a set? no. so what's the point?

Cubecasts

Anyone else get tired of seeing his thinly-veiled anti-athens vibe “oh I’m just joking” comments on every single post? Like every single post on here. We don’t need to know your opinion on everything and yes I’ve blocked him but it’s still tiring seeing on every single post
