Perfect mirrors

I just finished Succession last night, and this morning I'm restarting it from the beginning.

No spoilers, but the finale was perfect (imho). I'm only ten minutes into the pilot and there's so much stuff that is either brought back or given closure in the finale.

Such a dense and well-written show!

Out of hibernation

Bought this Egyptian hookah in 2006 when I was splurging before I went into basic training. Smoked it maybe a dozen times since then 😅

Got it back out to smoke with my buddy and decided I wanted to try a private sesh in my (non smoking) room. Finally got the hang of the coconut coals (I used to use the quick lights), and enjoyed a couple beers while watching Succession.

Fan across the room pointing towards the window, another fan in the window facing out... No particulates detected by my air purifier 👍🏻

Currently smoking a blonde smoothie flavor the local shop had, but just ordered a couple Must Have flavors to blend in.

Glad this community exists-- my hookah deserves some action!

Applicator insurance?

Hello everyone! I currently work as an applicator for a landscaping company, but at some point I'm going to be doing work under my own company.

Could anyone offer guidance on how to approach finding the right insurance? A brief google says that this line of work is in a weird liability area, and since I have no real understanding of this stuff, I hoped someone here could help me out.

TIA!

Deliberate neglect?

Is my BPD roommate doing this on purpose? She'll leave the toilet paper like this often. She also leaves her hair all over the sink.

If I did either of those things, I guarantee she'd text me about it. But I won't ever say anything because it's impossible to know how she'll respond 😳

"This is how you get ants"

It's been almost a week since my BPD roommate exploded at me after coming home (after "the worst day") to see that my coffee syrup bottle had fallen over and ants got to it.

This only happened because she moved the bottle when she cleaned the kitchen, and put it next to her cat's food bowl. When I said exactly that, she said "How could you know that, he never goes near it."

Photo shows her cat approaching his bowl from the exact direction that would've knocked it down. Obviously I will never show this to her 😒 I've moved it back where it was before.

She poured bleach onto the floor and was stomping on ants hard enough to rattle stuff on my shelf upstairs.

Really hoping my coworker is gonna be able to let me move into his camper in a few months, because living with her is making me so stressed.

Currently listening to Stop Walking on Eggshells though 👍🏻

This sub has been so helpful since my first blowout with her.

Our very own Adam & Eve

I'm on the edge of my first total rewatch, just wrapping up S6e15.

And I'm also someone who's read the torah several times all the way through, which made me extremely interested in the way we see the story of Jacob, his brother, and their mother.

Using Locke's quote (referring to the way Jack finds the skeletons at the cave) as a jumping off point, what we really have is Eve and Abel, which makes Cain the "hero" of our saga. Adam is totally eliminated from the equation, as our "Eve"(s) exist without men as fathers.

I've got nothing more on this until I've rewatched again, but I love this episode more than the first time i saw it like 10yrs ago. This series is amazing, and I'm so glad i bought the complete set off ebay so I could binge the series in a month.

Saltburnt

I hadn't seen Saltburn until recently, but upon finishing it, I had so much appreciation for someone's line where he claimed "Lordi" (that's what he calls Jacob Elordi) asked him to be in Saltburn 2: Saltburnt. I can't remember his name, but he was in Emma's acting class 😅

It's such an unhinged nonsensical joke, but I LOVE it.

How do I cool my room

I feel like an idiot because my room will not cool down even when it's more than 10° cooler outside than inside.

I have three windows, and often have a fan in at least one. It cooled down only 2° overnight despite it being 15° cooler outside. Two of the windows are open on top.

What's going on?

This is only a "plot hole" because I was a philosophy major, but Sage incorrectly pronounced the name of a famous philosopher. She should've said "VIT-gen-shtein" 💁🏼‍♂️

I've noticed that every tike I take molly (EDIT usually 35 mg), it makes my dabs and herb taste like shit. Specifically, everything tastes super bitter.

Anyone else experience this?
