Someone is discovered to have superpowers of some kind. Clear evidence is found that someone has lived for hundreds of years and not aged, or unedited video footage is found of them surviving a lethal accident, or they are seen teleporting or moving at insane speeds.

In some countries where the government can do whatever it wants without restrictions, the person would be presumably imprisoned and researched. But in countries where there are more legal safeguards (at least in theory) what happens if the person has no interest in explaining the situation and doesn't appear to be any danger? Can the government legally compel them to do anything? Are there mechanisms in place to allow them to break the law for research?

Since redownloading a driver I suspect my computer may have a virus due to antivirus suddenly being disabled and internet redirects unable to run anything as administrator. Attempted hard reset failed, unsure how to proceed. Avg antivirus, problem is relatively minIM SCOTTISH

My country is blocking adult content on tablets and phones, this question isn't about VPNs, etc, its about any file you have on your device that is detected as such content being blocked. I want both my privacy and a device that can remain up to date but also watch adult content.

How can I bypass these controls? Keep in mind it may eventually be a requirement to verify your age to be able to even download new apps.

A third party in my region is attempting to impair the use of tablets and phones by making it impossible to view videos or photos containing specific everyday items without registration (this will presumably done by scanning all media for pictures of the object in question). This update has not yet been implemented but will be soon. Is there a way to prevent this from happening or work around it without making it impossible to use my device online? Is it be possible to reset devices infected with this update?

Edit: for clarification, such media is completely legal to view and possess and there are no plans to change this. It isn't anything criminal, but the obstruction of access to it is annoying and intrusive.

So this just in, she's confirmed she's going to be on Naked and Afraid (the survival show), and she was forbidden from cuddling her partner (whether male or female) by him out of jealousy, for those who don't watch the show this is a key survival strategy to preserve energy, so he's basically wrecked her chances of making it to day 21. So selfish.

I'm interested in finding episodes where cuddling was used as a survival strategy to conserve body heat or morale, it is an underrated technique. Can anyone recommend some episodes where this happens?

You're naked with an often attractive member of the opposite gender, significant others may be watching both of you at home. At night some of the contestants just have slight contact but some have no boundaries and get right up in your business and pull you in. I saw one episode where a lady just grabs her partner, pushing their warmth, sweat, squish into them, and the other person's pulling away unsure at first, but then gets into it. The cuddling looks awkward and vulnerable and embarassing and intense and infatuating all at the same time.

How do you deal with that? If you're straight and into them, how do you not catch feelings when you're in a completely different world with only your teammate in it and if they tap out you're alone? And when it ends, you could be on opposite sides of the world.

I'm not looking for agreement, maybe it's a stupid take. I'm just curious if there's any truth to this.

TBBT is a show featuring: an autistic guy with OCD limited social awareness and very strict routines, a smart but unassertive and needy guy, a painfully shy guy, a creepy wannabe ladies man, a street smart woman struggling in life, and a very socially alienated genius woman with autistic traits. It also shows nerd culture, the struggles social outcasts face and ways in which they shine.

I feel like TBBT while not perfect might have had some valuable lessons both for people struggling socially and for people who don't understand them. Certainly growing up around the time the show was on, it was nice to see nerdy people portrayed in a sympathetic light and while their struggles were a joke, the characters were not and you wanted them to succeed.

Early Howard is a good lesson in how not to act with women, while Sheldon is an exaggeration people like him do definitely exist and perhaps need some understanding. Zack's introduction is an example of how people who've been bullied for being smart can turn into bullies in certain situations.

Please help raise awareness. They physically cannot enter your home without explicit consent so easy to test if human or vampire. They also are destroyed by sunlight and will experience visible skin effects even with a small ultraviolet keychain.

Many prey animals, especially young ones, have probably have not seen their predators clearly. Do they just instinctively fear anything large that moves towards them? Can they tell by the positioning of the eyes if an animal is a predator?

It might seem a silly question but what thoughts do predator animals appear to have towards their prey? Affection, the same way a human loves the smell of chocolate or pizza? Anger? Fear?

Do mid level predators understand bigger animals are trying to eat them as they eat the smaller ones?

Elephants kill lion cubs if they find them, is this just revenge because it resembles a predator or do they actually realise these animals will grow up to endanger them later so kill them to reduce future risk to themselves?

I do not work for tesco, but i've seen the way some rare customers treat employees and it's not nice, frankly i dont feel safe in a store with people like that.

If non violently sneaking out with some stuff gets you put on a list, so should aggressive behavior that indicates you might be willing to harm an employee or customer
