Connection in MIA
Did I build in an extra leg through Miami just for a teeny $1.50 cup of coffee?
Damn right I did. IYKYK.
OK, I also got a slice of Key Lime Pie to eat on the plane.
Can’t start the A/C from the fob
At some point, our Solterra lost the ability to turn the A/C on with the key fob.
It also won’t let us leave the A/C on and leave the car with the A/C running without beeping incessantly at us for taking the key with us, and it won’t lock the car either.
It’s gonna be one long fucking summer if we can’t cool the car before getting in.
How do we fix this?
LIFX Supercolor?
Has anyone torn one of these down to see if WLED can be added (or if it secretly runs WLED natively)? To see what LEDs it uses?
I’m very close to buying one to see what crazy stuff I can do with it.
Was at my local toyota dealer yesterday looking for a part for my 2004 Sienna, and out front they had one of the new Bz models…
And the first thing I noticed was that they moved the charging port to the passenger side of the car.
WTAF? Why would any designer worth a damn put the port *opposite* the driver?
Of all the things that they did badly on the Gen1 and needed to change on the Gen2, the charging port location WAS NOT ONE OF THEM. And for this, they left a number of badly needed changes intact and unaddressed.
Get it together, Toyota.
My home charger lost network connectivity about 5 days ago, and is showing the White LED of disconnection. Resetting the unit does not seem to help. Nothing else on the network is amiss, it just decided to disconnect from a solid signal, and that was the last time it did anything on the network.
Did they recently push a firmware update out to these that broke the network interface?
