My biggest issue with Moctale is that its users seem to be fans of the founders more than cinema itself. Most opinions feel like a reflection of the founders’ views rather than their own, making it feel more like an echo chamber than a genuine movie discussion forum.

I don't understand why this keeps happening on Keybr. I grind one particular letter until I reach the top, but then suddenly, in one of the exercises, my progress drops all the way back to the bottom. This has been happening for the past week.

When I focus on accuracy, it gets worse. What should I do?

What went wrong with these singers? There was a time when their songs used to get 400–500 million views.

I was preparing for a typing test requiring 40 WPM. On Monkeytype, I was getting 45–50 WPM, so I thought I’d easily pass. But on the actual test, I couldn’t even hit 30 WPM. Then I realized Monkeytype might calculate WPM differently. For example, here it shows 47 WPM even though I typed only 30 word

Should I wait for the X and Q keys to unlock in Keybr, or should I increase my goal speed and keep practicing?

AITk for breaking up with my girlfriend because she and her family worship a baba?

I (26M) had been dating my girlfriend (25F) for about two months. Everything was going well, but I recently found out that her family worships a particular baba and keeps his photos in their family temple. Her family follows this baba very seriously.

My girlfriend, however, isn't obsessed with him or anything. She doesn't constantly watch his videos or visit his ashram. She just considers him a spiritual figure and prays to him occasionally.

I don't really believe in babas and found the whole thing uncomfortable. I get very bad vibes from families that worship a living person. I told her how I felt, and she said she respected my beliefs and didn't expect me to worship him.

Still, I couldn't get past the fact that my girlfriend worships a baba, so I ended things.

My friends think I'm being ridiculous and that I broke up with her over what they consider a harmless religious belief.

It's only been two months, so I figured it was better to leave if I already knew I wasn't comfortable with it.

AITK?

I’m stuck at a target speed of 35 WPM and can’t seem to unlock all the keys. Do you have any guidance? How do you set your typing speed targets, and how do you practice?

I've been practicing typing on Keybr, but my speed for certain keys—Y, V, B, Z, W, Q, and P, has been stuck below 30 WPM for a while. Honestly, it doesn't feel like I'm that slow on those keys. I've attached my typing replay. what can I do to break past the 30 WPM barrier for these keys?

In India, we have completely missed the purpose of VFX.

Visual effects should be used to enhance real visuals, not replace them. A fully VFX-rendered shot rarely looks convincing, it looks animated. I think movies with real actors are supposed to feel real. If we wanted everything to be animated, we would simply watch an animated movie.

If you're making a live-action film and creating every shot with VFX, it will feel artificial, no matter how realistic the effects are. Just because you can create something with VFX doesn't mean you should replace shots that can easily be filmed on real locations.

What's the point of creating a VFX forest? Instead, that money could be put to much better use.

VFX shouldn't draw attention to itself. The best visual effects are the ones you don't even notice they're invisible. Their purpose is to support the story, not to show off the technology. If you want to see how VFX can be used to enhance storytelling, watch District 9.

After spending two weeks learning the basics of touch typing, this is my current speed. Until now, I've been practicing on Keybr, but it doesn't have paragraph practice. How should I practice from here? Please guide me.
