Any nurses here anxious AF when they get student nurses? Like you have to be cool/not stressed out throughout the shift, everything has to be perfect or they'll look down on you.

When I was a student, whatever my buddy did was cool or if they made a mistake or get into an embarrassing situation, my respect for them never rlly lessened.

Is it just all about confidence? IS that the trick?

How to get over the fact that all of your hard-work in journaling will not be in ur possession once u die? I have 4 journals for different things on paper & online. Like pages and pages. It's not like i'm obsessed with journaling, it's just it actually keeps my life at bay so it comes naturally. i wanna keep them after i die but ik it ain't gonna happen. they have meaning to me. it's just i don't wanna be reborn as human and have to restart everything, wanna continue where i left off.

So, long story short, my (25F) no-chill younger brother (24M) and i had a fight over deleting the (precious) saved sensitive passwords in MY google password manager in chrome. like i don't wanna waste an hr writing down all the strong long-ass passwords and entering them in every time i need them. i can't live with no auto-fill. i have a busy life. And i've been using it for like over a decade with no hacking or issues. It's so morally wrong dat he's forcing me to do shit i don't wanna do like thank u for telling me why u want me to del the passwords and do old-school but i still don't wanna?? R U SERIOUS. he's like threatening me with stuff if i don't do it, it's horrible.

So, trying my luck, is there an actual way to hide some of the passwords in the google password manager even just temporarily? and if i can hide them, can i unhide them for later. he's gonna come back saturday to check on me if i've done it, like ya'll... i need to make sure it's not obvious dat i've hidden them. or if ya'll have any other ideas.

someone asked me this and i pretended to know and nodded yes. i thought it was just this person is better enough to not have to do frequent obs. she asked me like it meant more than just dat. have i been lied to my whole life lol i also never got told what SNAPPED actually meant. we just thought everyone knew wut it meant. nothing comes up on google about it.

i see all the 9-5 memes but atp with how stressful nursing is, i would opt to do office jobs with all it's "cons". it's a dream of mine. "dream" coz it'll never happen as long as my mother is still alive & with dis home mortgage/bills i have. i feel like most ppl who c/o 9-5 corporate jobs is coz they're still renting a dirty place to live or coz it doesn't pay their bills so they're stuck, can't move upwards. But for me, i want a change/break but stuck as well. So, it's kinda weird.

I'm used to my ward which is good. it's busy. but it's so much. u get weekend pay, get weeks of paid hols at a time but even with dat, I still fall back into this state of mind. everyone would say to stay as the right choice coz nursing rlly did help me out financially. just waiting for the day my mortgage is paid off till i can switch to a non-acute nursing job. think i'm just whining tho.

Just a bit bored recently so been tryna find this childhood show but with no luck, going thru all the shows online and thru chatgpt. Based in Australia.

I was prolly 5-8yrs old. The show airs every day or once every week coz I remembered it wasn't a movie. It basically always started out with a women in a Victorian's dress to the feet never showing her upper face but she was getting ready to go out with her umbrella. The filter was quite solemn nearly black & white. It was always raining and I think their were animals or smth waiting for her to leave to begin their shenanigans. The woman isn't the main character I think.

I've transferred from my old iphone x to my new iphone 14plus including the physical sim card. Now, my old iphone x can be used by my mum now. So, do i erase everything from the iphone x first or put the iphone 7plus's sim card in first? After I do that, can i restore backup from my mac so dat my mum has wut she has on iphone 7plus exactly as it is on her new phone, the iphone x?
