Clarifying what Content you’d prefer

I recently finished purchasing and setting up upgrades to my pretty dead channel and am hoping to make it into a career eventually and I have multiple forms of content. Eventually I’d like to make long form video essays but for now my main focus is single player 100% let’s plays, multiplayer games and seeing what sticks, and then things like gaming details/easter eggs, cinematic high skill clips, and boss fights with no damage on hardest difficulty. My question in specific relates to the last one, would you prefer to watch those for just the newest games, older games included, and would you prefer commentary or more cinematic versions as a viewer who chooses to use whatever time you have watching those?

So close to getting my audio to work but not quite, can someone help me with a solution?

I am trying to use my Elgato 4K X to capture my Xbox Series X, PS5, and Switch 2, here are my audio issues for my Xbox and PS5 respectively. Also I have it set to analog audio, using the 3.2 USB, and have reset everything multiple times. Also am using good HDMI cables, and have it set to where the audio should come out of the laptop to monitor what I capture.

Xbox: I can add it as video capture device and see the screen, but no audio issues passing through the card or the software at all, not that I’m not hearing it, it isn’t picking up any sound at all, the audio mixer is proving to me sound isn’t picking up. I can see gameplay but not hear it.

PS5: I can get sound until I use my wireless headset, despite having a chat link pro and it being hooked up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as my channel has been on break for a month, I’ve worked on this for three weeks, and I’m trying to balance a lot right now and don’t have any more time to spend watching videos and trying in vain to decipher it. Thank you so much anyone who does respond

How do I get my 4K X Input to actually pick up from my Xbox? Context below

I’m using good HDMI cords, have everything set up properly, and I think this, “No input signal,” in Elgato Studio is the reason why things like OBS aren’t picking up the sound and just the video of the capture card. Advice?

Please someone help me understand what I’m doing wrong on my part

This is kinda long. I wasn’t to record and post to my yt gaming channel from my PS5, Switch 2, and laptop for single player games, and my Series X for multiplayer games. I figured out Sony’s audio limitations, and bought a chat link pro to record my console audio so I can use my headset to hear well. I use OBS because I don’t like Elgato Studio too much. Here are my problems below.

I have it set to analog audio, not HDMI. I have the chat link pro set up. I can hear audio through my headset, and I still can’t record audio into OBS from the console when using it. I also am having Xbox issues where I can hear through the headset, but it isn’t recording console audio. I have been trying for 3 weeks, what am I doing wrong?

Tech Problems With Audio Question

I’m using an Elgato 4K X, through OBS as my preferred app because I don’t personally like the Elgato Studio. I got my setup nice and ready to go. I plan to use PS5 for single player, Xbox for multiplayer, and pc and switch for anything else. Just one problem. No matter what I do I can’t get my headset on my ps5 to connect. I’ve tried the whole connecting a second controller through the charger and using a 3.5mm audio jack to the headphones but it’s not working. I would really like to use my headphones for my audio and the microphone I have still for my commentary but how do I set it up properly? Also will this be an issue for my Xbox or laptop? I’ve only tried the ps5 so far. Everyone I’ve asked has just kept telling me to use AI but two things. Firstly, I despise AI, and secondly, it’s usually wrong. I really want to understand the in and outs of what I’m doing wrong, so may I please have some advice? Thank you in advance

Can you all give me any advice on why my computer is freezing and breaking? (Context in body)

I have an ROG Zephyrus GU603 gaming laptop and wanted to use it to record YouTube videos. My laptop is my hinge point of a lot of things I do from wanting to record, to using it for work for VO, a work from home job soon, and a couple other things. Since I have only the one laptop I thought I could get this USB splitter and use it, it was working fine the whole time I’ve been using it for a few weeks. Then my 4K X capture card and my focusrite solo got here and I plugged them in, the focusrite into the split, and the capture card into the laptop port separate from the usb. The reason I bring these two up is that this is where every problem started. Since then I have dealt with
-A black screen for m my laptop that doesn’t show anything at all, but indicates that it is turned on
-problems with my storage drive plugged into the split which hadn’t happened
-my Razer mouse continuously working for only about 1 min 30 sec after I plug it in again and then shutting off entirely
-the computer just not wanting to turn on

Please help explain what I’ve done wrong? I want to fix this and learn, both for knowledge sake, and because I work from this and can’t buy another one currently.

PS, if anyone can tell me how to capture sound on the capture card as well that’d be nice. I’m using a usb microphone and usb headset plugged separately into the consoles if that helps. But my main concern is the tech not working. Thank you all for any help.

Recently got an Elgato 4K X and wanting to make sure I do this right, do you all mind guiding a person who is completely new to this on what to do?

For quicker context, I would very much enjoy being a content creator with my main focus being on playthroughs, 100% completion runs, and cinematic gameplays. I have a gaming laptop which I'll use OBS for, and also as the machine that the Elgato is hooked up to. For my consoles I have a PS5 Pro for my single-player things, an Xbox for my multiplayer things, and a Nintendo Switch 2 for the cool oddball things Nintendo does. For my microphone I have a very budget FiFine mic. My current setup is starting some single-player things on the PS5. I got the capture card actually working and am able to record on the Elgato Studio app, but I use Turtle Beach headphones that are using a wireless connection through a chip in the back of the console which I've heard can be a problem. My request for tips would be in particular, how do I capture audio from the console with headphones, how do I record my commentary over the game captures with my FiFine mic, and what editing software would you all reccomend for the video and the thumbnail edits? Also, are there any other tips and tricks for complete beginners that you would all reccomend? My goal isn't even to blow up and become some huge success or anything like that, but just to have fun with a dream that I've had since I was a child with early YouTube gaming as far back as things like the GTA: San Andreas Bigfoot X-Files videos. Anyhow with my rambling out of the way, thank you all very, very much for any tips, tricks, and or helpful information provided!

Recently got a new gaming laptop, what quality is it?

I’ve wanted to break into desktop pc gaming for years but neither have the time nor the space currently to do so. In place of that I upgraded my laptop to a ROG Zephyrus G16, what is the quality of this laptop as I haven’t had a chance to test it out on too many games.

One of the review quotes could not be more accurate

The review quite about the writing being as attuned to heartache as it is sign theory is beautiful. I don’t know if I can even allow myself to add context, but I understand Will’s pain, and it hurts so, so much. I don’t know what Mark has been through or if he’s just that in touch with soul and the human condition, but my God it’s gorgeous and heart wrenching and it feels so bad, but I know how to sympathize with Will.

Question about what is and isn’t copyrighted

Hello all, I am starting to record some demo material soon to have a slate to pull from and was wondering, if I read pre-existing scenes from released animation, games, etc. is that copyright and not okay to do, and furthermore when I make my VO YT channel/website, is it okay to read comics both big and indie as a demo of talent? If it is okay, how do I avoid any copyright strikes on those? Thx so much for any help

Fun little question I thought of

I LOVE how Michael Giacchino’s amazing perfect score is used in The Batman (literally my perfect Batman movie,) and I adore how he named every single song either a pun, “Highway To The Anger Zone,” “Are You A Kenzie Or A Can’t-Zie,” etc. or something meaningful like, “Sonata In Darkness,” when blending all the tracks together into a hauntingly beautiful symphony. Obviously this is all guesswork, but what are some predications or fun ideas you fellow Dark Knights have for track titles? Some of mine are below:
“The Two-Faces Of Harvey Dent,”
“A Bat In Winter,”
“Labs To Freeze,” (Based on the production design teaser images posted earlier.)
“Snow Tracks,” (For the inevitable Batmobile snow chase.)
“A Symphony Of Zsasz,” (If the latest rumours are true.)
“Penguin Politics,”
“A Dark Knight’s Winter,”/“A Cold Winter’s Bat,”
“A Clown In The Cold,”

Maybe it’s a silly idea but as stated above, this movie is to me, a perfect Batman film I’d been dreaming of since my first introduction, and just wanted to share a bit of fun in all the chaos of the world.

Question about HDMI Splitter and Capture Card Compatibility

I am attempting to order an Elgato capture card 4K 60X hopefully soon for my channel to upgrade, and I was curious about something. I’m trying to record a laptop (tho probably can use OBS,) a PS5, Xbox Series X, and NS2, and wondered will all of the consoles will their HDMI Outs all go into a splitter, that I then plug into the capture card, and then the capture card into the TV from there, and it still display?
