I’m hoping the video visually matches the music as far as being energetic and upbeat. Would appreciate any feedback as far as if the lyrics are distracting or could be placed better, and if the cuts between each videos are okay. And just any general feedback that comes up! Thank you. So a few weeks ago I brought in my 2011 Subaru Outback to a Jiffy Lube because I noticed that my brake and traction control lights came on recently, and had some general whirring sounds. They insisted that a new power steering pump needed to be installed because mine was damaged and could potentially damage other components. Okay, $1200.
The day after it was installed I noticed the same lights were still on but now the check engine and oil at temp lights have now come on, too. And the car’s acceleration would now stall on me while out driving here and there. An even louder whirring sound was present as well. So I bring it in again and they’re saying a throttle body valve needs to be replaced because the engine is not getting the right intake and that’s why it’s stalling. They tell me to put some WD-40 on the belt to stop the whirring. Okay, $600.
The day after they installed the throttle body the car STILL has all the lights present, and the car acceleration still stalls. So I went to another Jiffy Lube because I’m fed up with this one. This other Jiffy Lube says I need a new MAP sensor because something’s funky with the electrics where it’s causing the lights to pop on. I wait about 5 days for the part to arrive at their store, so I show up and they then said it was going to be another 7 days because someone had forgotten to order the part.
So 7 days later I’m here and they install it, and the LIGHTS ARE STILL ON after I drive away. I went back and complained that why am I spending over $2000 and the initial problem that I brought it in for isn’t fixed (the brake and traction system lights). They said the MAP sensor only would remove the check engine light, which it did indeed. And now this manager is saying the brake light, traction light, and oil temp light are on is because……There’s something wrong with the brakes, traction, and oil….. so the initial reason I brought it in to Jiffy Lube in the first place was for possibly those because I saw the lights. What the hell is going on? Why did I purchase all these parts under the guise that they’d fix the problem, but the initial issue was absolutely ignored? (Thank you for your time, and would love to hear your thoughts.)
I recall buying it at the mall around 2012-2014. Could've been at Express, but I honestly couldn't be really certain with that or guess where else!
Apparently the previous owner was a massive hoarder and owned a ludicrous amount of guitars and wind instruments, despite not being a musician at all. His family were worried of his hoarding addiction before he passed away, and have been graciously assisting a guitar store in Colorado put his guitars in their inventory. That’s one hell of a hoarding addiction I wish I had!
Maybe it’s a sign to play again.
I thought something was a little suspicious after I noticed one of their songs "Little Deuce auf Panzerkampfwagen" from their fourth album, but fans seemed to make nothing of it so I followed along without making anything of it and enjoyed it too
Looking for an experienced singer to collaborate on my cover of “Long Distance Runaround” by Yes for an Instagram video (video above is not fully video edited yet, and the audio is completely unmixed until I acquire vocal tracks). My videos usually consist of multi-cuts to me playing various instruments attempting to closely recreate the original recording. They are condensed to 1:30 so the song is much shorter than the original, so you’d only have to sing about 30 seconds worth. (About 0:40 seconds into the original song to about 1:20).
