Backstory: After yet another critical flop [RAM], McCartney thought it was best to work in a band again. This band was initially made so McCartney could perform live again in-order to distract himself.

Wings would eventually crumble in early 1973 after drummer Denny Seiwell walked out the sessions for the upcoming album Escape; stating that the band had no promise of a successful career.
