Long hair shedding a lot

Hi all I've been having problems with my hair shedding and I know it's probably my fault for blow drying and using a towel to dry it but I recently got a hair towel from the warehouse and was wondering if they help with making it shed less also if someone could link me a site in Nz or aus for a bigger hair towel I'd love that cause I have a big head 🫠😅
