PLEASE try to limit taking a million pictures and videos during the shows. Take a few here or there, if you really need to. But these shows are being filmed for future release. There’s plenty of videos already on YouTube, too, and pictures everywhere, as well. Remember how fun the crowds are on the Rush in Rio, R30, and Time Machine releases? Bring that same sorta energy! Sing along, jump around, have fun, and live in the moment! Thank-you!

So, I got into the band at the very beginning of 3.0. I was a Who fan before becoming a jam band/Phish fan. So discovering the Quadrophenia show was my gateway into Phish. I was a fan of a lot of other classic rock before Phish, too. So I was familiar with other covers they would do, also. But then I discovered a lot of new songs and bands through covers they would do, too. I know at the beginning of 3.0, they went pretty heavy on the covers in setlists and then they scaled back on them and dropped a ton from the rotation. Does anyone else wish they would bring them back more? I feel like the covers has always been part of the Phish experience. What cover do you wish they would play more? Or on the flip side, what song do you wish they would cover?

I decided to turn on a random Gov’t Mule show from last year. Pine Knob. They are seriously on fire! I’ve only seen them once, years ago. Great show, but wasn’t mind blown. This though. The currently lineup is insane. I thought it wouldn’t feel like GM without Abts, but Terence Higgins is a monster. He holds it down. Great pocket drummer. Not to mention Kevin Scott on bass. It seems like Mule doesn’t get the love they deserve, so I figured I would give them some. They be jamming hard. Check out some recent Mule if you haven’t already.
