When I first watched this episode years ago, I thought he was just being a bitter old man about everything, but watching it as I’ve grown older Scott is overwhelmed, outdated, and totally alone. No one cares to hear about his stories until Picard sits with him in the holo deck. I just don’t understand how they didn’t even briefly mention Spock’s existence.

Basically I was the only one there for the muse listening part (my wife was with me) and everyone else (8 people) were there at the local record store just to shop. Long story short you didn’t need to buy the album to be included for the give aways. Just signed a piece of paper and put it in a jar. Needless to say I didn’t win anything and I was the only one who actually purchased the wow signal. AIO? Or is this a valid crash out?

Am I the only one who struggles to get through a whole album past a certain point? Now… let me explain. Paul McCartney easily wrote 300-350 songs songs by 1980-1981. For any other band or person that’s an entire career and then some.
Now Paul’s got 2-3 good songs on every album since McCartney II. But from tug of war on I just can’t listen to the albums start to finish
So is it wired after Paul’s first 350 songs the remaining don’t grab my attention? (as much)

I don’t blame them for not wanting to do a standard greatest hits reissue. But I do think an acoustic album of their specific favorite songs would be awesome for the diehard fan.

Lwaxana Troi (Majel) really did a great job in this scene. Before this she had always been so silly, goofy, and fun. It’s so sad that she met someone who enjoys being around her and his people expect him to off him self just due to his age. But she did such a wonderful job here pleading her case.
