I'm (F) going on a first date with a guy I met through a dating app. He's from a different city, we both are from Gujarat tho and we've never met in person before. We're meeting in a public place that is a movie first then walk and I've taken the usual precautions, but I'm wondering about the location-sharing part.
Usually I'd share my live location with a close friend, but my closest friend is strongly against meeting people through dating apps and doesn't really support the idea, so I don't feel comfortable involving her. I have two other friends, but we're not very close and barely talk these days.
For those of you who date through apps, who do you usually share your location and details with when you don't have a supportive friend available? Cousin is also out of scene because we aren't close & they are snakes who would leak this news to my fam & create fights in my house
Would appreciate advice from women who've been in a similar situation.
