I decided to take a trip to Gorman Falls in Colorado Bend State Park

Well worth the hike.

Anyone work in Correctional Managed Care / Prison Pharmacy? Is it a good sector to get into?

I’m looking into potential career moves and wanted to get some real insight on working as a pharmacy technician in Correctional Managed Care (CMC) / prison system settings.

I see positions pop up for correctional health systems every now and then, but you don't hear as much detailed feedback about it compared to standard retail (CVS/Walgreens), inpatient hospital, or LTC setups.

For anyone who currently works in corrections or has in the past:

What does your daily workflow look like? (Is it mostly central filling, unit-dose packaging, KOP/DOT inventory, or do you have any face-to-face interaction at the pill window/clinic?)

How is the work-life balance and schedule? (Are set weekday hours/no holidays common, or is it heavily dependent on the facility size?)

How do you feel about safety and work environment? (Are you completely tucked away behind locked pharmacy doors, or do you interact with officers and patients regularly?)

Pros & Cons? How does the pay/benefits package compare to standard retail or hospital gigs?

Would love to hear any pros, cons, or red flags to look out for before diving in. Thanks in advance!

I have an interview scheduled for this coming Monday and am super nervous.

[RIP] Today our beloved Apache crossed the rainbow bridge

As the title says, today our beloved Apache crossed the rainbow bridge. While we knew the option for surgery was prohibitively expensive, we understood that the day would eventually come when we’d have to say goodbye. We just didn't expect that day to come today.

Lately, he was barely eating, extremely lethargic, and having a hard time walking. Today, during his walk, rather than relieving himself, Apache just decided to lie down in the grass—something he had never done before.

We are completely beside ourselves with a mix of emotions right now. How have others in this community managed the sudden realization that it was time to let go, even when you knew it was coming eventually? We'd appreciate any advice or shared memories.

Technical Support megathread

Any and all issues related to the Peacock service should be posted here, not just some random post.

When posting issues, please provide information about your setup, i.e. the platform (Fire TV, Samsung TV, etc) and device ('Fire TV 4K stick from 2024', 'OLEDB65CUA', etc) you are streaming on. It would also help to know the exact piece of content you were watching when the issue happened.

Today our faithful loyal company crossed the rainbow bridge.

As the title says, today our beloved Apache crossed the rainbow bridge. Over the past couple of months he'd developed a tumor on his neck. The vet told us it was operable but wanted $10 grand to do the procedure. We simply don't have that kind of money. Both my partner and I had known that the day was coming when we'd have to tell him good bye. However I didn't expect that day to be today. He was barely eating and was super lathargic, he'd barely been able to walk. Today my partner took him for a walk and rather than relieving himself Apache just decided to lay on the grass, something he's never done. We're completely beside ourselves with a mix of emotions. Editing Automod doesn't show what mods edited automod

Like the title says, recently I did a complete overhaul of my subs automod and rather than saying I edited it it just shows u/deleted edited automod. Here's an attached screenshot https://postimg.cc/SYXH9JNn

Hey everyone! If you were tasked with curation duty for the band’s legacy, what would your ideal 12-track Evanescence album look like?

The goal is to build a cohesive record using your absolute favorites from across the entire discography—the ones that capture that perfect blend of gothic rock, cinematic strings, and Amy’s powerhouse vocals.

My Personal "Definitive" Tracklist:

Game is Over (The perfect aggressive opener)

Going Under

The Change

Cloud Nine

Lithium

Whisper

Feeding the Dark

Your Star

Imaginary

End of the Dream (Synsynthesis version)

Broken Pieces Shine

Whisper
