I'm talking specifically about clothing and shoes. This has been happening for a while to me, but somehow I always brushed it off as coincidence.

For example, most recently I noticed that winter jacket is currently on sale at most retailers. Their sizes are bit inconsistent, so I was trying to confirm dimensions and I was comparing various listings to see if they match.

So I come to amazon, selected two sizes in a color I wanted to compare. Amazon showed me price that is even few dollars less than everywhere else. Great!

Day later I open Amazon again, and the listing pops up on the front page, however this time only two sizes in a single color I looked at are full price while all other sizes in all colors are still on sale, including the color I wanted. Even the "used/like new" in my size and color was more than current sales price, even though the day before it was about $50 less than a sales price.

Videographer here, I know that it can be hard to express yourself, especially if you have to do it in front of bunch of people so AI may sound like a good option, but it isn't.

It is clearly fake and does not sound sincere even to people like me who most likely only know you for few hours at best.

And than it gets amplified even more while making a highlight video. I'm currently editing a wedding where bride used AI and groom did not. It is painful to watch. This is my second day working on what it should be less than an hour worth of work, and at this point I don't think I'll be able to make her sound genuine no matter how I cut the video.

I'm looking to get my first phone by Chinese manufacturer, and I would prefer to get global version. I'm only aware of Wanda Mobile as being reputable even though I never personally shopped there before. And eBay of course, but we all know what are the possible downsides when dealing with eBay sellers.

Are there any other options available in US?

For years I was with NJM (considered to be overall best car insurance in my region) and for years they were, very affordable, local customer service that is easy to talk to, giving dividends, no shareholders, and available at any time you need them. I really have nothing but positive things to say about them. Most of my friends and family have been with them for at least 10 plus years.

However, over time their price stared to increase, and as compromise I started to lower my premiums, and I was very close to rock bottom as far as coverage. And than at the begging of this year they jacked up my premium from $2200 to over $3600 per year. No reason, no accidents.

The worst part is that when I tried shopping around other agents somehow had access to my policy and I was in a situation where agent just gets my name and the car, and tells me, I'll use your current policy to put some quotes together. This of course resulted in getting same exact coverage for similar price and only name of the company would change.

Only Geico came in at about $1100 for 6 months and the coverage amounts were what I actually wanted and not bare minimums. At first I though they are just roping me in and will jack up my rate at the renewal 6 month later. But that never happened. Renewal was actually $20 less!!

That never happened to me before!!

Videographer here, over the years every once in a while we work at the venue or a house of worship that is trying to save on electricity by skimping on A/C. In general that was never a big deal other then being little sweaty and uncomfortable. Worst case scenario people don't dance or spill in to other rooms and/or outside is possible.

But this summer there is a notable difference in temp at many venues. I was at two events in the last couple of weeks at different venues in NYC where it got so hot elderly person got sick and they had to call 911. I'm talking about serious stuff, person unresponsive on the floor being taken away on a stretcher.

At the second wedding it was grooms father (diabetic) who got sick. Reception started at 7 he got sick and by 8:45 pm B&G left with father and medics to ER and the party was over.

Keep in mind that even if everything looks good when you walk in, as space gets filled with people and they start moving around temperature will keep going up, so have someone occasionally check on elderly in the far parts of the ballroom and demand from staff to crank up the A/C if needed.

I have 2025 Toyota Corolla LE with 34k Miles. I was changing some settings with Carista and decided to scan the car for codes.

It came back with 3 error codes

• U014087 - Lost communication with body control module
• U015587 - Lost communication with Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module
• U016387 - Lost communication with Navigation Control Module

Car runs and drives without any issues. Carista is showing that 12v battery is good.

Car is still in warranty for another 2000 miles, so I don't know if this is something that is covered. Given that the car is practically new and that I'm not experiencing any issues while using the vehicle what do you think I should do?

• Reset the error codes and drive it for few days to see if they come back.
• Troubleshoot on my own, and inspect 12v battery, fuses, and wiring that I can see before taking it in to mechanic
• Take it to my mechanic who I trust and let him handle it
• Go to a dealer, and hopefully it is covered by warranty

Someone mentioned to look in to freeze-frame data and see if this is something that happened once or multiple times. Sadly I can't find Freeze-Frame option on Carista app even though on their website they talk extensively about importance of it, but do not say where to find it in the app or how to use it.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Average car collector will say here is my indestructible "Built Tough" F150 with 940 original miles. It is a miracle that it survived in climate controlled garage!!

Toyota collector will say here is my SR5 with original engine and transmission. Odometer stopped working in early 2000s at about 420000 miles. Since then we drove it to the moon and back, twice, and now we use it to heard horses in Mongolia.

So far I received four inquiries all via email in the last couple of weeks. My friends didn't get them, so I wasn't thinking much of it. However I saw another photographer online talking about same exact scenario and scammers trying to blackmail her so I want to know if anyone actually ended up clicking on the link and what happened.

This is the way scam goes. It starts with vague one sentence long inquiry for a last minute wedding and no other details.

I respond with a price list and calendar link to schedule consultations. They schedule consultations right away and than go silent until the moment the Zoom call is scheduled for.

First time they just sent a link telling me to click on it and when I said no, they give up.

Second time, they told me their partner is out of the country and can't use Zoom invite I sent, so they want me to use their link instead.

Third time, they said they have ALS and must use app for disabled.

Fourth time, they said my link is broken and when I sent a new one they ghosted me.

I like to know that in a case of emergency I can call someone, but AAA is getting bit expensive for my taste, almost $200 a year for two people, for a service that I used twice in 20 plus years.

I don't want to get roadside assistance trough insurance company because they don't provide much, and they are known to jack up the price if they see you use it.

Bosch Part number: BSH 6092C

Bosch is the only company I found that makes HEPA cabin air filters, but their website is horrible (NAPA is not much better ether) and you can't look up what filter fits 2021 to 2024 so after bunch of digging I managed to find the right one. I figured to share in case anyone else needs it, especially with all of the fires and smoke in North America.
