Top Notes: Bergamot – Mandarin – Grapefruit – Orange – Aldehydes
Middle Notes: Caramel – Cinnamon - Cognac
Base Notes: Wood – Amber - Sandalwood – Myrrh - Tonka beans– Oak - Musk

So I just smelt it, and picked up a bottle so please don’t ask about longevity or projection right now.

Right now it’s a citrus bomb with some warm
Boozy amber drydown.

This reminds me of something and I can’t put my finger on it.

I’m going to let it sit and let all the other notes do their thing though.

But it would suit right now in the UK and then winter time.

Also, the disk in the box isn’t a chocolate coin.

It’s a coaster or place mat for the fragrance.

I pried it open thinking it was a chocolate coin and was puzzled when no chocolate was inside 😂

Went half size up from the NYC’s

Honestly- already prefer them to the standard NYC’s

It’s a scent that makes you go back and sniff again.

Side note; this reminds me so much of Lataffa Liam grey, which is a take on BDK Gris Charnel, but I didn’t get a chance to try the two side by side.

However, for those that might be on a budget Lataffa Liam grey is pretty similar to iris debonair.

For the US members UK’s air traffic control went down and everyone in the country was basically grounded.

We sat on a plane at the gate for 6 hours.

Before spending the night in the hotel while me and my wife watched our daughter sleep, then get an early flight this morning.

Nearly 10 hours later, we are in Florida and I’m going to smell damn good.

Man they are good

Just that golden graham taste with a bit of cinnamon on them

It’s a winner

Brought this when the hype started building up and people didn’t know Zara had an imagination take fragrance.

Can be brought for £25.99 from Zara online or store

It doesn’t go down the soapy route, it’s fresh with the citrus, gingery and then dries down with amber.

It’s actually my favourite take, there’s just something about it.

It’s by all means not a beast mode projector, and it does sit closer to the skin, however i wore it a few weeks ago and zara frags have been know to just disappear after a while, this one lasted a good 7 hours on me and I was getting whiffs hear and there throughout the later parts of the day.

But it’s also one that you can just over spray if you need to or top up spray.

Anyway into the recycling bin the bottle goes

Had to get another bottle of YSL absolu- goes without saying.

Though the guy on the fragrances was kinda pushing the new EDT intense and I was like Absolu is my favourite, thank you for your help.

But azlaan caught me off guard, as soon a you smell it you know what it’s going for, and it’s good.

I’ll post the notes if anyone is interested, but the tea and the citrus’s is just a winning combo and a much better opening then hawas kobra.

Just sprayed a little bit on my hand, and you know what it smells pretty good.

It’s definitely in the Afnan’s collectors edition wheelhouse.

Which is doing the whole aventus absolu spin.

It’s nice, smells well blended, pineapple, bergmont opening

Getting the patchouli too, you know it kinda reminds me of explorer extreme in a way.

Now if it projects and has better longevity then extreme then we are in for a treat.

How is the armour variation compared to standard omni?
