[Homemade] Angel hair pasta with early girl tomato cream sauce
Early girl tomatoes, Jalapeño pepper (seeds removed), onion, garlic, butter, chicken stock, white wine, parmigiana reggiano, eggs, Italian seasoning, black pepper
"Rep" (counterfeit) buyers should be shamed
The whole COUNTERFEIT watch movement is disgusting. If you only care about wearing a good looking, reasonably high quality watch, and want to pay a reasonable price like $1000, that's fine and achievable. But why do you have to put the trademarked name of ANOTHER company on it, which is illegal. And why would you buy such a watch to support these reprehensible counterfeit companies.

Which Daytona is the best value now?
I know this subreddit HATES discussing value and “investment” watches. But it is a goal of mine to acquire Rolex that both look great and also may appreciate. My vote is for steel white Daytonas 116520 available for around $22k. They are selling extremely fast now, snatched up in 1-3 days every time a good one is listed.
If you don’t agree that “investment” potential should be a factor in buying watches, please don’t down vote my ass and chew me out. And yes I do wear them.
Let's discuss the Tesla Robotaxi myth. They are less safe than humans and by some measures they are 40 to 90 times less safe than Waymos.
I know this is a Rivian subreddit, but I'm sick of the arguments that TSLA deserves its insane valuation because of Robotaxis. Note: I am not an investor or a short seller of TSLA.
As a close competitor to future FSD offerings from Rivian, it's worth looking at where Tesla is today:
Tesla's Robotaxi project has faced major hurdles, highlighted by a crash rate of roughly one collision per 55,000 to 57,000 miles. Operating mostly in Austin, Texas, the tiny fleet of about 35 cars crashed 17 times by mid-2026, performing about 4 to 9 times worse than human drivers. While many were rear-endings, remote teleoperators caused crashes by driving into fences and barricades
Waymo's any-injury-reported crash rate is 0.71 incidents per million miles compared to a human benchmark of 3.91.
By comparison, Waymo's fatal or serious-injury-worse crash rate sits at 0.02 per million miles versus 0.23 for human drivers.
So by some measures, a self driving Tesla is 4 to 9 times worse than a human, and a human is 10 times more dangerous than a Waymo.
That puts Tesla at 40 to 90 times less safe than a Waymo.
I've ridden Waymo dozens of times and can confirm they are far safer than the average human driver, in my opinion. I believe a human is at least 10x more dangerous than a Waymo from my vast experience with human Uber drivers.
But the fact that Tesla is currently WORSE THAN A HUMAN is shocking. I wouldn't be caught dead riding in a Tesla robotaxi without a safety driver (and in fact all Robotaxis have safety drivers now)!
I'm not saying Rivian is any better than Tesla at FSD, since they don't even have FSD. But their plan to launch WITH LIDAR (same as Waymo) could be a deciding factor in making them eventually safer than Tesla's fully visual FSD, which has been a disaster.
I’m from the future, hear me out
