Hi,
I just purchased an iPad mini 1st gen 16GB (WiFi+Cellular) from someone (it's on the way) and before y'all climb up over me, I purchased it for a very cheap price, 1500 INR (~$15.7) FYI it's like 5% of the original launch price as this specific model with this configuration launched in my country for 29,900 INR (~$313.2) back in 2012.
It was kind of an impulsive purchase as I found the price lucrative. I am currently planning to use it as an e-reader, as I was thinking to get Kindle earlier but its way more expensive compared to it and apart from this, I have an Android phone and a Windows Laptop, so the content consumption part is sorted on my laptop.
How can I use it for e-reading effectively? Is there any supported app? any websites? any guide or workaround to use these apps or websites if not available officially?
What else can I use it for? Can I jailbreak it? What are the safe ways to do it, if its possible to do? If you know or have a jailbreak guide, please drop it below, and what will be the perks of doing it? I heard I can download apps on another supported apple device and try downloading stuff on mini via purchase history on App store? is that true? this is going to be my first Apple device so consider me a newbie. I understand the app support is negligible, and it must be very slow to use. Looking for genuine and helpful advice. Thanks in advance!

Airtel first removed ₹859 plan and transferred its benefits to ₹899 plan. Now they removed ₹899 plan from third party apps, from where most people recharge their mobile no.
The minimum priced 84 days recharge plan on third party apps with daily data and calls, is now ₹979.
Please note that I am from Rajasthan Circle and not aware about other circles of India.

IndusInd Bank just destroyed their Indie Savings Account. It offers Star, Superstar and Megastar tiers. while the account is zero balance, you have to maintain a certain amount of money to stay eligible for the relevant tier. Megastar requires a min. maintenance balance of 50K, and it makes the most sense compared to the other two tiers till Sept 15, 2026. I have been using the account as my primary account, and it served me well.
Here's a quick and simple comparison of what's changing for Megastar customers [Image is generated using ChatGPT]:
how tf you do that? i hit that skull thing or i just end up not hitting enough fire balls. its so annoying. any tips?
Hi, HDFC (grievance portal) confirms that my card is eligible for LTF and it will be converted within 120 days. i also received only 3 months of One membership, they confirmed it will be extended post expiry of the current one. I haven’t activated the card yet because earlier the customer care told that its chargeable. Can I activate and use it now? Attaching the original post of mine below.
If I pay for Flipkart Gift Card purchase on Flipkart using Airtel Axis or Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Cards, Am I eligible for the flat 1% cashback? or its excluded? Merchant name is showing “FLIPKART”
Need 10K+ for now. prefer larger deno but smaller ones will work too. comment here for DM.
Hi, I recharged my father’s Airtel prepaid nearly 3 months ago with ₹859 plan (1.5GB/day for 84 days), but it provided 1.5+0.5 GB/day. Airtel has discontinued this plan and I need to recharge his no. with ₹899 Plan (1.5 GB/day for 84 days). the validity of current plan will expire in like 10 days. Can I recharge with ₹899 plan right now? will it get stacked? Or the new plan will get started right after the recharge, vanishing the remaining validity from previous pack? thanks in advance.
Prefer larger deno and I am buying up to 10K for now, please note I need Amazon Pay Gift cards and NOT shopping voucher. Non negotiable.
Hi, I opened the slice savings account and got approved for their credit card. my limit is 1 Lakh and i was quite disappointed thinking it could've been more but when i saw most people here having a limit of 10-15K, I feel better lol. my physical credit card is on the way. should i get a physical debit card too? is there any special perks for debit card payments? is it LTF? also are there any other benefits of slice cc apart from up to 3% monii and slice sparks?? any tips or suggestions are welcomed. I’ll use it wisely without overspending or smth as it's not my first credit card, seeing post from ppl here making me realise slice is single handedly debt trapping indians 🤣
