Pt 2 of irresponsible things my mom did for herself and her favorite children when we were poor

  1. The vacations each year my mom went on 4 vacations. Napa,Florida.a cruise, and either Europe or Cabo and she would say in very nice hotels when in reality we lived in a super 8
  2. Christmases each year my siblings would always get the nicest things for Christmas iPads phones, clothes, shoes, and me and my two younger sisters got nothing from her
  3. The private school we went to this cult school called classical conversations which surprisingly she paid for me and my sisters to go there to get indoctrinated.
  4. Her offices my mom always had a scam, but her biggest one was she was a natural path, healer, and a dietitian, even though she never went to college, but she always had the nicest offices. Don’t know how she got those she had like the worst credit because her car has got repossessed.
  5. Back to school shopping my brothers would always have the nicest clothing for back to school. I honestly forget, but I know that they would always have the newest gym sport backpack the newest shoes, their clothes from Ralph Lauren, the gap Hollister, Abercrombie, Macy’s
I have even more that I can do. Let me know if you guys want a part three

Irresponsible things my mother did growing up when we were DIRT poor

  1. She always had to have a luxury car and not one. No she always had to have three cars at all times she always had her big three row SUV and then she would always have a cayenne always. Some luxury convertible and she got a new one every two years.
  2. Always eating out only her and her three favorite children were allowed to eat out. Me and my less fortunate siblings would go with them but we only got their leftovers or we would eat Ramen from Dollar General
  3. We always would live in a motel occasionally we would get an apartment or a trailer, but like if we were not in California, we always lived in a motel and it was the cheapest motels
  4. Always had to have designer clothes she always would have designer and her three favorites all would wear Ralph Lauren and those types of brands and I remember she had a uniform. Her uniform was Louis Vuitton bag jeans loubitons and a tank top of some sort and me and my less fortunate siblings always had Goodwill

Also she still does the same thing now my little sister is about to turn 18 and that’s her last kid. She’s gonna be 18 in like three days but yeah as of right now they have an apartment but it’s a good one because all her money goes towards her other kids car payments and her Porsche payment

My eighth time posting this what do I do about my stepsons mom

OK, so my cousin comes every two weeks to do my nails. She’s very talented. I’m like begging her to go to cosmetology school but anyway not the point so my stepson comes in and he’s like oh I want nails so my cousin does French tip with little stars on them and my fiancé is on a business trip so I pull up to do child swap at the parking lot cause I do not want this lady to know where I live because she’s crazy so I pull up and she sees his nails. She gives me a death glare. She tells him to go to the car and then she starts screaming at me saying that he’s not allowed to do that and I’m like girl you don’t even have a right like you see him every other weekend shut up and anyway so I don’t know what to do do I let him do the nails and then take them off before he goes to his mom’s house. I really don’t know what to do. she also said a bunch of slurs that I’m not gonna say because of Reddit keeps like flagging my thingy.

New to unschooling in Arizona – advice for ages 4 and 8?

Hi everyone! I’m new to unschooling and trying to learn as much as I can. I have two kids, ages 4 and 8, and I’d love to hear how other families structure their days and what resources you recommend.
I’m also looking for resources that are easy for a parent to teach. I didn’t finish high school, so I don’t have education beyond about the sophomore level. I’m willing to learn alongside my kids, but I need beginner-friendly resources that explain things clearly and don’t assume I already know how to teach.
Some of the things I want them to learn include:
Turkish
Spanish
Math
Reading and writing
Cooking and baking
Nature walks, hiking, and outdoor skills
Hair styling
Makeup artistry
Lash application
Nail art
Arts, crafts, music, and other extracurricular activities
I’d like to focus on practical life skills alongside academics and follow their interests as much as possible.
For those of you who unschool:
What resources would you recommend for someone who is new to teaching?
How do you make sure your kids are learning enough?
What does a typical day look like?
Are there any Arizona-specific co-ops, field trips, or groups you’d recommend?
What do you wish you had known when you started?
I’d really appreciate any advice, especially from parents who started with little teaching experience themselves. Thanks!
(Also I had chatgbt write this)
