Hi there. So my niece is 3 years old and is newly diagnosed 2 weeks ago. She’s been put on the Libre 3 and is supposed to be going on the MiniMed this week. My issue and question is, that for example, last night the Libre alerted us 3 times throughout the night that she was low and below 4.0mmol but each finger prick shown she was above 6.0mmol but if the pump goes off readings like this, then it will be delivering insulin or pausing insulin based off of false readings. I’m on the Omnipod 5 with a Dexcom myself and don’t have these problems but they said she can’t have an Omnipod yet as it’s too harsh and the MiniMed isn’t compatible with Dexcom.

Does anyone have any advice about this, is it normal or should we avoid the pump for this reason. Or is there another pump to ask for before she gets it. Thanks in advance

Last week within the space of three days, two DPD drivers tried to turn around on my driveway and crashed into my gatepost. We complained and they’re looking into it. Today DPD were meant to deliver my parcel and I got a message saying they attempted delivery but no one answered and the photo wasn’t even my property. I rang up and explained to the customer service man man that I’d paid £10 for the item to come today and I needed it for Saturday and he contacted the depot and said said he will deliver it today before 7pm and he didn’t. Is it a coincidence they did this or am I over thinking it?

I’ve tried the baby powder under the insole, and I’ve even removed the insole and still squeaks. Doesn’t seem to be popped so can’t work it out?

Does anybody recommend a good silicone for the inside of the window where it meets the window sill? Thanks in advance

I’ve bought Zinsser Peel Stop primer to paint over some paint that’s peeled off when some wires have stuck to the wall. I’ve also had a wall repaired near my door so it’s just plaster as the moment, can I use this as a wall primer instead of the usual mist coat with emulsion and paint over it?

For the past month and a half, when I go to the toilet for a number two it feels as though I’m tearing slightly and it leaves me itchy afterwards. I feel like I’ve lost the elasticity down below? I’ve been to the doctors and she did a physical examination and said she sees or feels nothing out of the ordinary and won’t give me anything to treat it. There is no blood, no signs of parasites etc. I have ulcerative colitis which I was diagnosed with a year ago so my stools are majority of the time soft, which I mentioned to her but she just didn’t seem to think there was anything wrong. Any ideas or things to help?

I feel like I've completely been fooled by this machine and their advertising and should of trusted my instincts not to get it. I've never snapped and bent so many needles in my life and this is even after buying MORE needles for heavy duty fabric...

Does anyone recommend anything else? Please don't send brand names, send me specific machines please.

Someone on eBay is selling an Apple refurbished iPad still sealed in the box that Apple sends them in. It’s £200 and says it still has a year warranty but does this start from when you turn the device on? It’s a good price. Would anyone recommend it? Thanks in advance

So somebody is selling an Apple Refurbished iPad A16 128GB on ebay for around £200. They said it's still sealed in the box. Do you reckon it's worth it? I've seen a lot of things about the refurbished items being basically brand new. How would the 1 year warranty work also?
