Question: Where do yall live that cybersigilism is actually common

I have never seen a person in real life with cybersigilism tattoos. Why are people acting like it’s this rampant trend that everyone has and that is going to look dated in 5 yrs. I have lived in nyc and now mexico. I actually think this is a really cool style

Would gender flipping The Drama characters change people’s opinions about it?

Just a question I was considering.

If the roles of the bride and groom were switched, would people still be reacting the same way? In other words, if a man revealed he had planned a school shooting, would he get the same empathy from the audience?

Mask Girl is amazing

Listen, it seems like Mask Girl would be slop based on the title and maybe even the trailer, but it’s one of the most binge watchable shows i’ve ever seen. I’m watching the english dub. There isn’t a slow moment every scene moves the plot forward. The characters are so believable also

A child of my own - diabolical story

Has anyone watched a child of my own? This one is stranger than fiction.

Alejandra keeps miscarrying so she makes an agreement with a pregnant girl who didnt want her baby, to take the baby. Alejandra hides the agreement from her husband and decides to fake her own pregnancy.

The girl delivers the baby and Alejandra takes it. Then she gets arrested.

The girl comes out and says Alejandra made up the backstory and randomly stole her baby from the hospital.

The ending is also so ridiculous. Alejandra gets out of jail. Arturo separates from her to have a baby with someone else, and then comes back and they raise the baby together. Happily ever after?

This kind of shows what cultural pressure can cause - it seems like she felt extreme pressure from her husband and family to have a child. They also kept blaming her for the miscarriages

I watched an outdoor cat die

I came here from the post about the cats subreddit being pro outdoor cat.

I was walking down the street in Mexico and I watched a cat get hit by a taxi. It started to cross the street, realized it crossed at a bad time, and started to run back and was struck by the taxi.

After it was struck, it crossed successfully into the grassy median and laid down in the grass. I walked over and it was panting heavy. There was nothing I could do - it died in 30 seconds. Its eyes went glassy like a toy doll’s eyes.

Please don’t let your cat be an outdoor cat. It was probably the worst thing ive ever seen in my life

Would you have been willing to sacrifice yourself to save humanity, question?

Assume you thought it was a one way trip. Would you have agreed to the mission, or would you have to be restrained and sedated?

Opinion: Backrooms (2026) needed a few more passes in the writers room

In my opinion, Backrooms was a bit of a mess. It kept resetting: once when clarke first entered, then again when he brought two other characters in, and then again when the therapist went in.

I personally found the scene at the table compelling but it was also very “texas chainsaw massacre” x house of wax.

The scene at the end with the scientists was honestly so vague and half baked. Im confused about how the company transitioned from mri machines to investigation of the backrooms

I also wasn’t impressed by the acting of the therapist, and watching her run from the monster, injure herself, and stumble into everything in her path was agonizing

Idk what i would do without hydrogen peroxide

My life is so much better because hydrogen peroxide exists. I always have a bottle of hydrogen peroxide at my side like a loyal companion. It has saved so many sheets and clothes. Praise be, hydrogen peroxide

To me, it didn’t seem like pre-wish Nikki was interested in Bear at all

I am a woman who just watched this movie today without watching any trailers or reading online discussions. I was shocked to find that people thought pre-wish Nikki was interested in Bear.

In the whole pre-wish period, it just felt like she was being nice to him as a close friend. Why are people feeling differently? I find it dishonest when people are primarily friends with you in the hopes that you’ll eventually reciprocate their romantic feelings. It creeps me out.

It seemed like the directors confirmed this also by including the lines about her hooking up with bear’s friend and saying she only thinks of bear as a friend.

Earthquakes are the scariest natural disaster

In my opinion, earthquakes are the scariest natural disaster.

In modern times, tsunamis have warning time. People also now more broadly recognize the significance of the ocean receding. In the worst case scenario, drowning takes a couple minutes at most with the force of the water and being struck by objects in the water.

Hurricanes also have a lot of evacuation warning time these days.

If you live in tornado alley or a place that frequently sees tornadoes, you can build an underground shelter. I’m typing this from a volcanic island that has had recent tremors, but volcanic eruptions typically also have evacuation warning time and show signs of coming eruption.

Flash floods are devastating but death by flash flood isn’t something most of us have to fret over. It is a bigger threat in certain areas like canyons - this one is harder to predict because if it rains miles away you can be a flash flood victim. But if you go into a canyon you know the risk.

Avalanches are also very location specific.

Wildfires are a killer but there is typically evacuation warning time. This one has been getting worse but still not worthy of the #1 prize

Earthquakes can be sudden and really strong. The question is: what the hell do you do? “Walk outside” isnt an amazing solution in a dense city with buildings everywhere or an area with tons of trees. Earthquakes can also trigger landslides. Stay inside and you could be buried permanently or for days until you are rescued. That’s a very drawn out death. In addition, lots of places on fault lines arent prepared for an earthquake and the buildings are not reinforced to survive an earthquake.

Frank getting liam kicked out of private school disappointed me

Hear me out for a brief second it seemed like frank cared a little bit about liam. He actually put some significant effort into getting liam into private school. And then he pulls a frank and sleeps with all the moms and gets him kicked out. I was genuinely disappointed in frank

Charles Sobhraj: The Serpent (now free from prison)

Does anyone else think it’s wild that Charles Sobhraj is free and walking the streets?

If anyone doesn’t know about this guy, he is a prolific serial killer of young backpackers. He evaded arrest for a long time (he had different passports and identities.)

However Nepal released him after 19 years due to old age and poor health. Seem odd to anyone else?

I don’t know if I’m the only one who watched the serpent, but it was about a prolific serial killer who killed young backpackers and it took him forever to be caught and imprisoned. For some reason he is now free?
