Study notes & past papers for COMSATS entry test

My exam is on 12th and I have to score 85+ marks. I wanted to ask if anyone has good study notes, past papers, or practice material that could rlly help me. Also, are the KIPS FUNG CS Entry Test books good enough for COMSATS preparation, or should I use some other resources as well?

Hi everyone,

I took the FAST admission test in Lahore today, and my final aggregate is 57.91%.

I applied for CS program in Lahore campus. Based on previous years' merit lists, what are my chances of getting admitted with this aggregate?

Do i have any chance in getting admission in fast university?

Severe anxiety before exam

I’m a student and I’ve been dealing with something really difficult during exams for the past 2–3 years. Every time I have an exam, I get intense anxiety and physical symptoms that feel like dizziness / imbalance / feeling like I can’t walk properly or talk properly. It usually starts even before I enter the exam hall, sometimes just by thinking about it.

It’s not about fear of failing, academically I’m okay and I can usually pass easily. The problem is the physical reaction my body has to exam situations. On exam day, especially when I’m outside the hall, I feel like I might lose balance, and i feel like a burden to everyone.

Even visualizing the exam hall can trigger the same feelings. I’ve noticed this pattern keeps repeating every exam season and it’s getting harder to manage.

Tomorrow I have an exam and right now (the night before) I’m already feeling very stressed and getting symptoms just thinking about it. And my right side of head is hurting a lot.

I don't really have the fear of failing or scoring bad, just the fear of exam itself, and the fear of having that attack again, as i have had it many times during exams

So I wanted to ask if someone has experienced it, what helps you actually get through the moment of entering the exam hall? And any tips for reducing this stress?

I’d really appreciate any advice.

Thank you.

Anyone here studied from Hashim Zia for CS entry test prep?

I’m currently in 12th grade and planning to apply to multiple universities in Lahore for CS, so I’ve been thinking about joining Sir Hashim Zia Mathsflix for entry test prep.

Can anyone honestly tell me if it’s actually worth it? Especially for someone who’ll mostly be preparing during board exams and can probably only give around 1 hour daily.

Are the lectures manageable/helpful, and is the paid batch much better than YouTube?

Hi, I’m pretty sure I have Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness based on my symptoms and patterns, but I’m struggling because most doctors either aren’t familiar with it or say I’m too young for that.

I’ve had full testing done (MRI, EEG, ENT exams, blood tests) and everything has come back normal. I was advised to take vitamins, but they haven’t made any difference.

My symptoms match PPPD closely:

  • Feeling off-balance/heavy-headed (not spinning)
  • Triggered by standing/walking for a while
  • Can get worse with stress, poor sleep, or not eating
  • Sometimes difficulty speaking during episodes
  • Improves when I sit or rest
  • Comes in waves (goes away and comes back)

The hardest part is managing it when I’m outside or can’t sit immediately, and also not being aware much of it.

Has anyone else experienced PPPD?
What actually helped you reduce flare-ups or manage them in daily life?

Any advice would really help.
