The lights on the first floor of this house in my neighborhood have been blinking red for DAYS

These red lights have been non stop blinking for a few days now. The rooms are also completely empty.

ETA: This is my first time having a post get this big! Shoutout to those who I had some fun discourse with, and dang some of ya’ll can be so mean for no reason lol. I posted this in the weird sub because I thought it was weird. Not dangerous, not scary, not trying to be nosy, just weird in a funny way!

Booped the farina head snoot

This is Nelly. I let her lick the bottom of my bowl of farina when I was finished. It’s been 10 minutes and it’s still on her head and she doesn’t even know 🥲

First 6.7 on the dot! I hope it makes the kids proud

Got out and did a nice base run this morning since the smoke has cleared here in NJ! I know 67 has dwindled but the inner middle school teacher in me jumped for joy 🥲 Happy Monday everyone!

My dad told me that I should get a nose job girl dinner

Castelvetrano and Kalamata olives with a side of shaved parmesan. Featuring a Diet Pepsi with ice in a Messi pint glass I took from an old bar I worked at. Double featuring 20mg of sativa RSO edibles 😋

My dad’s side is Norwegian and my mom’s side is Italian. I have a pretty strong Roman nose that I have struggled with trying to love since was a kid. In high school a boy asked me if I got the bump on the bridge of my nose by being “pistol whipped with a dick” and I have been scarred ever since. I’m turning 30 soon and my dad suggested a nose job as a gift because “my profile needs work”. I politely declined and am feeling so sad.

ETA: I just wanted everyone to know I love my dad very much. He is a good man but he is a raging functional alcoholic and says a lot of sad stuff when he’s drunk

Hot, humid, hazy, rainy summer night walk

I couldn’t decide if this house gave me Goosebumps vibes, or garden fairy nighttime tea party vibes. Either way this house made me feel nostalgic. I can’t put my finger on why, but the way the light was hitting the vines made me stop in my tracks

My 87 year old Nana is spicy

This popped up on my photos memories from 3 years ago today. I just sent this to her and she called me and we laughed. Give your Nana a call today if you are as fortunate as I am to have such a special one still around 🩷

Took these in Manasquan right before the storm hit last Friday night 07/03. Had a peaceful 7pm dip. Ran away from a sandnado.

A patient hippo waiting for one small bite of my peanut butter oatmeal

Her name is Nelly and she is the goodest girl. She loves to munch on oatmeal, thin apple slices, sweet potato chunks, flies, grass, and seedless watermelon (sometimes)

Three bean salad with red onion, red and green bell peppers, corn, cumin, and honey!

I’m a teacher on summer break. I popped an edible and smoked at 2pm. I have so much time to eat I needed to make a healthier option lol. I used red kidney beans, black beans, and cannellini beans. I made a dressing with olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, pepper, cumin, more honey, lime juice, and TONS of cilantro 😋 not pictured: Tostitos scoops!!!

6 months of a consistent and simple routine with type 2 rosacea saved my life.

Hi everyone! I’m 31F, and around 28 I started to notice my cheeks having pimple like bumps that would not go away. It started small, but eventually got worse, and it absolutely destroyed my confidence. I felt red, hot, burnt, greasy, ugly, and sad. The bumps became permanent, and my skin became even angrier when I would get overwhelmed, drink hot drinks, be in the sun too long (with sunscreen on), and sometimes for no reason. My skin also felt like it had turned to sand paper. December 2025 I finally went to a dermatologist and he told me it’s type 2 rosacea and prescribed me Metronidazole cream 0.75%. IT HAS BEEN A GAME CHANGER.

At first the redness and burning subsided within 2 weeks. I did get a small breakout of more bumps during that time, but they flattened and didn’t burn. As time has gone on, the bumps have gotten smaller and smaller, and I’m happy to report I am once again confident in my skin! My skin isn’t perfect, I still have some residual redness, but overall I feel so much better. I still have days where a few bumps will appear BUT they now feel more “temporary” so I don’t feel as depressed if I get a few. Rosacea is a forever work in progress, but I’d like to share my routine which has saved me from the depths of depression and not wanting to see the light of day :)

Night routine:

  1. I was my face with cool water and Cetaphil’s gentle skin cleanser (not specially for face).
  2. Pat mostly dry with a paper towel
  3. I use a generous amount of Cetaphil Restoraderm Eczema soothing moisturizer while my face is still a tiny bit damp. (I started using this to help redness and irritated before I know I had rosacea and I swear by it).
  4. Wait 15-30 minutes and dab 7 dots of Metronidazole 0.75% cream on each cheek and dab around until it’s all spread out.
  5. Vaseline under my eyes for some extra love

Morning routine:

  1. I do NOT wash my face. I mix Neutrogena Clear Face oil free sunscreen SPF 50 with more Cetaphil Restoraderm moisturizer and put it on my face, neck, and chest.
  2. Add more of that sunscreen as needed throughout the day!
  3. Sometimes I use Avène Eau Thermale water spray to cool down my face if I feel hot, and follow up with more sunscreen :)

Again, my skin isn’t 100% where I want it to be, but I am so grateful to see improvement in 6 months. I hope this routine can help someone else out too ❤️ this journey is hard but we are all stronger than this!

Idk how to caption pics but the order goes:

  1. Day before dermatologist 12/22/2025
  2. After 1 week 12/28/2025
  3. During week 2 (purge I think) 01/04/2026
  4. 1 month down! 01/28/2026
  5. 3 months 03/09/2026
  6. 5 months 05/27/2026
  7. Literally 5 mins ago
*all pics were taken in natural light bare face*

I’m really sad I’m not a mom girl dinner

Trigger warning: miscarriage.

Since I was 12 years old I was adamant I didn’t want children. I’ve been in a relationship for 7 years with someone who also is adamant he doesn’t want kids.

I had a super unexpected, painful, and jarring miscarriage at work this past November. I was shocked at how sad I was. It broke me because I felt so sad, and was confused why. Ever since I have been feeling my mind slowly change and I can see myself having kids in the next 4-5 years.

My partner still does not want kids. But I love him so much and wouldn’t want to have a child with anyone else. My head is all scrambled today so I made a Funfetti cake with vanilla Funfetti icing for my girl dinner 💕🦄 I ate half already

ETA: Omg guys I did not expect this to gain as much traction as it did. Thank you to all of your incredibly kind responses, and thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your stories as well. The world feels extra hateful and shitty right now, but all of your comments and experiences reminded me people ARE good! Sending love and virtual hugs to you all <3
