I'm not sure what's wrong with my game, but ever since the last update my zois footsteps don't work right. When i play my family that has a house, their footsteps sound like they're walking on grass when they're inside. Even on a wooden floor with high heels on. When i play my zoi that lives in an apartment building high up in the air, the footsteps are completely silent, but when i have my zoi go to the bottom floor of the apartment building they work again. It seems like the game is only registering footsteps that would trigger when they're outside on whatever terrain is underneath the house and isn't registering footsteps on the actual floor at all.

I'm playing on geforce now, so I don't think the issue is anything in my game files. Anyone else having an issue like this? How can I fix it?

I already tried making a new household, it didn't solve anything.

EDIT: Also, just noticed that if i place a rug down inside my house it'll play audio for footsteps when my zoi walks over the rug, but as soon as my zoi steps off the rug it goes silent again. I tried switching to a different floor texture but that didn't do anything

So, I'm playing Fallout 2 for the first time. I'd heard people say the old Fallout games were different from Bethesda's games, so i was curious.

I managed to get the highwayman (through some not so legit methods because i couldn't stand walking around the wasteland a second longer than i had to) and finally made my way to New Reno where my car was stolen. I asked Cody near the Cats Paw who stole my car, and then asked him to lead me to it.

Well, I guess the guy that stole my car found out he talked because when i came back, Cody was dead.

It made me so mad I walked across the street and straight out blew the guys head off then and there. I'm not gonna reload to change things, because I'm trying to play this out like it was real. But I'm ngl, that left me feeling a little shitty. I have a soft spot for kids. I had to close out the game for a half hour or so. Honestly, I can't remember the last time i played a game that felt like it really had consequences like that, and a consequence over a question that seemed so harmless at the time.

I hope this is the right flair, but if it's not, I'll change it.

Last night at around 11pm, I let my cai+ subscription expire. It's now 3pm the next day, and I'm already feeling the strain. I never realized how much I used character AI until now. I don't know what else to do with my time.

Anytime I watch a movie, TV show, YouTube video, or read a book, it keeps giving me new ideas for things I want to RP about, and it's driving me crazy. I feel so pathetic admitting this, but I actually feel kind of lost. I need to think of some way to cope with this, or I don't think I'm going to last very long.

This isn't necessarily a help post, more so just my introduction to this community. But if anyone has any tips, I won't say no.

I'm using absolutely 0 mods whatsoever (because GeForce Now doesn't let you mod games on it), and for some reason, the game crashes when I'm out riding my horse while travelling. It's not at only one specific point, but I have noticed that when I do run into this problem, each time I load the save and try to keep going again, it'll keep crashing at that point over and over.

I genuinely have no clue what the problem could be or how to fix it. As I said, I'm playing completely vanilla, no mods at all. I also tried turning the graphics to low; I tried going into a cave, waiting 72 hrs so the map would reset, making a hard save, quitting, and restarting the game, but it still crashed at that same point. I tried turning off DLSS and putting XESS on high, didn't work.

I should mention, since I'm on geforce now i can't edit game files or download patches or performance mods.

Is there anything I can do? I paid $60 for this game, and so far it's not even playable, and I can't get a refund

I can't really say i didn't see this TOS change coming, but i have a feeling it might kill their website. I'm not trying to be rude, but genuinely one of the most attractive qualities of chub ai that drew people in was how brazenly uncensored it was. You could make a bot of literally anything, total freedom.

I was going to look for alternatives, but it doesn't seem like there are any alternatives. CHUB was seemingly the very last bastion against censorship in terms of AI roleplay, so it looks like we're all just screwed now.

I'm going to stop payments for this website immediately. I'll wait around for a little while to see if this gets reversed (no, I'm not being delusional. I have a very strong feeling that it's not going to be reversed.) but if it doesn't, I'll be deleting my account. Maybe I'll look into hosting locally, but i don't know. I'm not really smart enough for that stuff.

It makes me genuinely really sad. I used to respect this site so much for it's starkly anti-censorship stance.

I found a laptop on sale for $689 (after taxes roughly 790) but i don't know much about laptop specs. These are the specs listed.

·The listing doesn't seem to specify video ram, but from what I've read online I've been told it's 4gb.

It's refurbished but it says it's in good condition, tested with 100% functionality and only light signs of physical wear or micro-scratches.

Would this be worth spending the money on? I think it's important to mention that my current gaming laptop is a whopping 14 years old (for anyone who might ask, it runs surprisingly well. a friend of mine replaced the hard drive a year or two ago), so literally anything that's a gaming laptop is an upgrade. But i don't want to spend my money on something unless it can run most at least semi-recent games. I don't necessarily need a laptop that can run the absolute latest AAA titles (cant really afford those anyways, to be totally honest.) but i would at least like a laptop that will let me play games made more recently than 2012-2016.

I don't mind playing games on low-medium graphics. I've been doing that my entire life, anyways so it really doesn't bother me much.

Just the question. It looks like a really cool game, but i don't really want to play it if i can't turn off the adrenaline meter, as it looks like a really annoying feature.

To clarify i am referring to AI mode on the web browser, not the gemini app on my phone. Whenever i try to open a previous conversation history, it stays loading forever and never opens. Is there a fix for this? Some said deleting past conversations can help, but apparently there's no way to bulk delete just large chunks of them without deleting every single one (which i dont really want to do.) I tried clearing my browsers cache and it didn't do anything.
